I ordered a driver from CPO based on all the great feedback in this thread.
Got a Paradym X rated good condition based on all the pleasant surprises people got, but mine just arrived and there is definite wear on this club. I can handle most of them, but there is a noticeable nick on top of the club that is very distracting at address. I will call tomorrow to see about sending it back.

Also, do you know if they price match on their own price drops?

I have had a lot of success with them over the years and ultimately like the experience.... however, I'm on my third try of getting a Paradym Super Hybrid in 'like new' condition.  If this one shows up as bad as the first two, they might have lost me.

Yah, you already found they price match

Their CS is great to work with esp with condition disputes.

 

I know there's been a lot of positive FB on CPO, and I do LOVE them

but I have found that more often then not now, I am returning like new stuff way more often than I am keeping it bc of condition.

They're always so great about it though, and I've found plenty of stuff and kept plenty of stuff as well, it's just that the condition of stuff has definitely gone down for me for quite some time now.

Gonna sound like a broken record, but the most annoying part of CPO is they throw the club in the box without headcover.  They always give you a free HC, but they won't bother to put it on.  And the reason it's annoying is that I think a lot of time, the damage occurs during shipping.  Esp if you get a few clubs in their banging against each other.

Sounds similar to what comes with the fairways and hybrids. You can buy them at a pretty friendly price if you call.

Keep in mind this was “Good”.  CPO has five ratings, good is the 2nd worst.  Very Good, Like New, and Outlet are all better than “Good”.  Only other rating is average.

Thank you for reiterating the condition ratings. I explained in my post why I chose “good”.  Fortunately, CPO stepped up and is gonna make me a satisfied customer. They are honoring a lower price and are sending out a new club and emailed a return label for the damaged club.

Plus they allowed me to delay returning the club until we come back from vacation on the 22nd of this month. 
Kudos to CPO for making me a happy customer.

I saw on the "new" Callaway site they have a 50% trade bonus on latest irons.  I'm hoping they do that for the Ai Smoke woods soon (looking at the 3w).

No I don't think so, you're alone on that front. I remember testing those out at an Edwin Watts back in the day an absolutely hating them compared to my Nike Pro Combos at that time lol. I'm looking at the '21s.

 

I am slightly annoyed that the checkout makes it seem that these used clubs should be $900+ and then pricing them at $630. I'd take these irons in the 500s but 600s seems a bit steep for 3 year old clubs in "good" condition

I doubt CPO would do one anytime soon, if they even do it this year. TITU Card is pretty bare compared to previous months on things you can trade in.

My G400max isn't going to like this. 

 

Anyone know how the gen4 HZRDOUS black compares to a HZRDOUS black smoke 60.

doesn't really matter sadly, even when they did include the HC, they didn't put it on the club. Just threw it in the box next to the club.

 

Their CS is awesome, and I'd even ask about a swap.

For better or for worse, I have extensive experience with these two shafts.  The Gen4 is not as boardy and will slightly spin more off the driver. I love the Smoke for fairways/hybrids and the Gen4 for the driver for this reason.
