Putters Blade, Mid-Mallet vs Mallet Putter

I thought it would be interesting to Poll Golfwrx.  Do you use a Blade, Mid-Mallet, or  Mallet?  Primary gamer please.  Comments welcome with Brand and Type.

Maltby PTM 4. 

I've tried more than my shafe of mallets and high MOI putters this year. But there is no denying I roll the ball the best with a blade style.

I use a Scotty Santa Fe------ Now I am old school and do not consider that a "blade" putter but rather an Anser Style but on your parameters I did check "Blade" because most modern people refer to them as blade putters even the manufacturers. To us old timers a blade putter is a Calamity Jane or a Bullseye or 8802.

I've been told my putting stroke is very straight back-straight through with minimal arc, so a mallet would be best for me. I used a RAM Zebra putter for a few years when I was getting started in golf, then switched over to an Odyssey Stroke Lab R-Ball mallet putter when I upgraded my set last year. The face was too hot for me, and I always overshot my putts, so I switched to my dad's old Odyssey White Hot #2 putter (a blade) with great results. 

 

My wife gifted me an Evnroll ER5 hatchback putter when we got married, and it's been working very well for me.

 

I think there's something to be said not only for the putter head shape, but the hosel type and face technology.

Never had any stroke analysis but the mid is the only type I can lag consistently. So, that’s what I roll.

Myself my gamer is Bettinardi SS #8 (a blade) but looking at wide blades vs Toulon Atlanta.

I've always lag putted better with a blade, but have better from 4ish feet with a mallet. I'm giving the Odyssey 5k a try to see if I can get a blade to perform within that 4 feet mark. I prefer a blade, but a mallet has done better for me.

Same here, I've opted for a blade and a cross hand grip for short/med putts.

In my brain, I put better with my NP2. It just feels better in my hands. But I seem to make more putts outside of 6 feet with my GOLO. I switch between them often

I love the "half oval" shape of the Golo 3/Del Mar/#9 head.

It is insane that there is not much in store to let you know what neck is best for your stroke. I talk to a lot of my buddies who are just casual golfers and they have no idea why putters have different necks.
