Very interesting. This changes everything, as I've seen so many people say the rogue st fairways are their best-looking in a long time (maybe ever?) I would agree, and with initial reactions that paradym doesn't look quite as nice, these limited models might be very sought-after for a very long time..

 

Is The Vault the only place to get them?

Only place I know of at the moment.  Most of their limited releases, they've been available through select accounts (certain fitting outfits and a few online retailers).  fairwaygolfusa.com has had a lot of their limited release stuff.  But, I don't see them up on their site this time.

I have both that I mentioned. Tour and Asia models. Both fit normal optifit fairway adapters.

eBay as well most are just reposts from Asia auction sites. I’ve gotten mine from other members here too. Previous user of the epic flash sz and they just sat too closed at address.

Did you try setting the loft to -1? Should open the face a bit

That’s good when you want to get a lower loft lol not so much when you don’t. They still don’t sit as cleanly at the lofted down setting as the triple diamond rogue and speed do.

I hit the Paradym Triple Diamond 8* today and was really impressed. I haven't liked any of the Callaway lines since about 2018, and I did NOT lilke the Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS at all. The Paradym Triple Diamond is so much better. For that type of head it was amazingly forgiving, my smash factor was consistently 1.48-1.51, with it only dropping to 1.45 on a miss. For a smaller (450cc) low-spin head, I was really surprised as I haven't gotten along with Callaway drivers in a few years.

Has anyone had a chance to hit the paradym (non triple Diamond head)? And if so, what are your thoughts? It seems there is a lot of positive talk about the TD head but just wondering about the performance of the middle of the road one

I'm hoping I get to hit with my Ventus shaft this weekend. its the same degree as my Rouge ST TDLS so fingers crossed.

 

The fit and finish in person is 100 times better than the photos. I immediate wrote this release off when the spy shots dropped. After seeing it in person, I'll be evaluating it against TSR & the new G430.

 

Not sure if anyone else has heard but there is supposedly as small change to the adapter this year and or options that will be available to retail that were tour only.

The fairway tip is the same as on the Flash line. To me, at address these looked just like the Rogue ST line, but added adjustability. The Triple Diamond fairway looks just like the Rogue ST LS fairway profile, plus an adjustable hosel.

The adaptors are the same as the previous lines (Driver and fairways) but my rep reminded me we can order the drivers with the Tour Flat adaptor and one other one if we wanted to. I think the other one added more adjustability range, but I can't remember how much (-2, +3 degrees maybe?). That should really add to the versatility of this line.

I had one of the retail adjustable models. The upright lie and closed face made it stupid. Adjusting it was all out of whack.

 

The TC serial versions are much better.

The Callaway Optifit 3 adapter is +1, +2 and -1.

Theres quite a few adjustable Rogue ST retail models on ebay from USA sellers they just arent marked as anything special since they dont know they have a fitting head.

Yes that's the stock options for loft, I was saying the other adaptor that you can request increases the range of adjustability. Different than the standard -1,+1,+2, I just can't remember how much it changes.

There is no other options for fairways besides a 'double dash' tour flat -1* model. The longer adapter for drivers has a 'green dot' model which goes to -2* for loft but that doesnt work for fairways.

The TC serial models (tour issue) are 1* flat from the stock lie and most often have open face angles that do not sit closed in relation to the centered setting on the adjustable adapter. Therefor you can turn up the loft +1 or +2 and the club will still sit neutral to open rather than severely closed at address.

Nail on the head. My Pro confirmed the same, the Tour Flat (Red Dash) adapter and the Tour Strong (-2, Green Dot) were going to be fitting options this year. Excited to have access to the Tour Strong now.

i see. for their retail adjustable fairways do you know how much the face opens up if i set the loft to -1? I've owned callaway adjustable fairways in the past and have always had to put it to this setting to offset that closed face you mentioned (although it's still not perfect)

I believe face angle to loft is a 1:1 ratio but my memory could be fuzzy on that.

No that is for the Optifit 2 adapter which is driver only - unless these are brand new adapters for the Optifit 3 for 2023 which I would doubt.

I had an EF way back when and I dont recall having the same issues I did with the Rogue ST Max and ST LS fitting heads I tried to mess with.

I hit it at watts the other day. It sets up beautifully. This is all a result of my venture with the tsr2+. 

 

I played a 17m2 3w for a long time. Paired it with a low/low shaft and it was perfect. I like my rogue st ls a lot, but if I can put a "max" fwy in, and lower the loft, open the face, and use a low/low shaft to control spin then I may love it. The tsr2 didn't do it for me. The tsr2+ is a specialty club. EF may be perfect based on what I saw a few days ago.

The max heads are big with the euro players for that exact reason. Somehow no one plays many max heads on the PGA but they love them on the DP and etc tours. I love mine as well. Try looking for Mavrik TC adjustable heads on ebay, I might have one extra in the garage as well 👀 

 

I havent seen many 'max' Rogue ST TC heads on ebay yet especially an adjustable which I'm not sure they made.
