I watched our club pro hit this driver today, he was absolutely killing it.  I haven't played a Callaway driver in nearly 20 years but will for sure be trying one when they hit the market.

I’m gonna say the same thing about this new driver that I did about the Rogue: this thing is fugly. 
 

Disclaimer: I’m now gaming a Rogue. Damn it. 
 

Edit: hopefully it’s better in person. I hope it looks as good as cobra's peacoat colorway.

i didn't think the rogue was/is fugly but i did/do not care for the crown.  that being said, i also game the max ls since it is the better driver for me.

Looks pretty cool to me. Might be worth a look if it appears more neutral at address than the Rogue ST.

Sweet!  Glad you found these!! The driver is much darker in person (unless a light is directly shining on it) than the first post pics.   I’m stokkkked to do some head to head testing and I’ll save my judgment/opinions until then.

It’s funny to think of them focus grouping the new name, and a cohort of illiterate golfers pronouncing the correct spelling as “para-diggum”.

 

Maybe “paradym” will be better for search engines too.

Those pics make it look very close to the peacoat ltdx. Should pair well with ventus blue

Wow, I’m a Titleist and TM Fan boy and I can honestly say that Callaway Epic Speed was the best sounding and feeling driver and was the same again with the Rogue.

Have to agree here, I think the feel and sound was the best in the Rogue LS head last year. Incredible level of spin consistency on an LS head too. Also think the Rogue Fairways were best in class.

 

Color scheme this year reminds me of a bowling ball but I've put up with taylormades nonsense totally white crown before so this is fine.

The origional rogue might be the best sounding and feeling driver ever imo. Didnt feel like a driver felt like and iron but as a driver so crazy.

The looks of this will be polarizing for sure, but imo this may be the best looking driver I have ever seen.

Saw it in person yesterday… it’s really really good looking. The blue finish is ultra dark and really looks good at address. The meeting of the face and crown flows very well. It’s a really good looking driver and the scoop was that it spun less than his Rogue ST TRIPLE DIAMOND from last year. Can’t wait to get my hands on one.

Any comment/opinion on how the sole looks? Is it meant to stand out or be more subtle, if that makes any sense?

I paid more attention to the business end. It’s pure at address. May not be for everyone but it’s my most wanted for next year at this point. Sole was much more standout-ish than the crown but that makes no difference to me. It’s going to be under a headcover when it’s not in my hands.
