Masters edition? Up on ndc now

Normal version. Not the ones that looked like they got dragged through a clown dressing room.

You’ve  just described what every other lazy company does. It’s boring and no one really cares about those releases.

Right. And people fall all over themselves for the Nike skateboard division's clown show golf releases.

I actually feel sympathy for Rory and the Tour pros that have to wear those stupid majors releases with fake water droplets, fake peach bruises, dirty-looking materials, and original crap like "Lobstah" on the soles.  That's the stuff that's lazy.  It's harder to make good-looking stuff that actually incorporates the classic themes/color schemes....well it's harder for Nike anyway.

Don't feel too sorry for them, there's millions $$$ of reason why not...

Anyone already got VT3 in hand can comment on the fit, compared to VT2?
I tried VT2 before, but overall narrow, even in wide version, even tried 1/2 size up. The toe box is especially shallow vertically, means my toes always touched the inside of the upper. I tried 1/2 size up but still the same. Hopefully VT3 enhanced this part.

Funny thing is ZIT% “looks” narrow but actually not. But I consider VT2/3 is more stable.

I’m assuming “dirty looking materials” is a reference to the US open last year. You’re from the Boston area, that water at nantasket, Wollaston or revere isn’t exactly crystal blue. Kind of on point with the color scheme

A microfiber towel, warm water and a lot of elbow grease to get these to reveal themselves. Took about 3 hours to complete. Ya can’t get to all the creases and crevices. They will definitely draw some attention. The gold is louder than I expected. Also, the shiny upper material features a iridescent coating that shows when the light hits it.

I don't think anyone was confused on what it meant, it just doesn't look good on a golf shoe.

Exactly.  I'm surprised they didn't claim it was a celebration of the Deer Island sewage treatment facility.

Nice job!  Honestly, they do look better in your photos than Nike's photos.

As someone with some experience removing removeable paint on sneakers... sounds weird, but I got the Jordan 1 LA to Chicago and NY to Paris that also has the removeable paint.  Although, that paint was MUCH harder to get off where you needed acetone to remove any of the top layer paint.  There are some tips and tricks that may be helpful.  Use a toothbrush or soft bristle brush to get into the tight places and also pinch/bend the shoe to make it a easier to reach the tight spaces.  But don't use acetone as it may take off the gold as well.

Had some VT3’s arrive today, first impressions are that they look better than last years, less of a rounded toe box so look less “clownish”

Comfort wise they feel great on feet, massive improvement to the heel which last years would rub on me as there was a hard part under the soft heel section.

This colour way is slightly off white but they look awesome!!

There was a waterproof leaflet inside so suggests they have a 1yr as a minimum…..BUT…..WTF Nike…..great idea to make a “Waterproof” show then put huge holes in the tongue, right in the place where raindrops will gather!!

Overall they look like keepers for Le but will need to keep my Tour Premieres for really wet days!

Any recommendation for a Nike shoe that has a wide toe box, with otherwise normal midfoot and heel?  The more cushion the better.

I recently had to transition to wider width shoes for my day to day, after pretty much wearing only nikes for golf. I've always worn a 10.5, and found:

Zoom Victory 2 wide is TTS

Zoom Infinity Tour Next % wide i have to go up .5 size

Jordan 1 low is somewhat wide and will stretch a little. I went TTS with different insoles and these are my walking shoes

I had to get rid of my air max 270s, 1s, roshe tours and vapor/lunar controls, just not enough room in the toe box.

is creasing the norm with the AM90s? got a pair of smoke purples and a 5 minute walk up the shop, already signs of creasing happening in the toebox. or is it inevitable and just get on with wearing them to play golf in? 😄

No, it's not the norm.  I'm a big fan of the 90s...I have almost every color way out there.  That particular shoe will crease...yes.  It you get one of the normal pair that look like actually AM90s, they do not crease hardly at all.

They definitely don't look as "clownish" as last year's model.  Nice.
