The Tour from a size and forgiveness perspective would be the closest to the ZX7

 I definitely agree with this.

FedEx dropped mine off an hour ago and I just hit them on SkyTrak during lunch hour.  These are sweet as can be!!  Feel great.    They are basically the same size as my Mizuno Pro 225's...maybe ever so slightly smaller but not by much.  Actually didn't mind the stock steel shaft either.  Makes me want to look at heavier weight graphite.   Nonetheless I'm going to tear these apart now and put some Recoil Prototypes in with some BB&F ferrules and give them a spin.

You mind providing a size comparison with your 225s? I'm using the 225s now and thinking of purchasing the King Tours.

Thanks!

Mind taking a pic of the Cobra Tour PW next to a Cobra Tour 7iron? Want to see if there is any size difference in the heads between lofts.

I'm pretty sure the Tours are smaller than the 225s. More comparable to 223.

Ugh can't wait for my Tour/CB combo to arrive; wish I would've ordered sooner. Will also be pulling the heads to add some BB&F. Looking forward to seeing how these turn out!

Anything to note when you were cleaning out the head hosels? Any cobra hosel weights in there? Hosel depth good?

Also I am now a big advocate for 24hr cure epoxy vs the quick set one. I feel like the strength of hold is way better. Had a few heads getting lose when the clubs were left in the car trunk in the summer when using the quick set epoxy.

Everything came apart just fine.  No surprises. Only 1 iron didn't have a tip weight.  All irons were D1 on the swing weight scale in stock form.  Head weights were are fairly consistent.

All new shafts have been prepped and cut.  Swing weights figured out with various tip weights during dry fitting.

Too tired to assemble them tonight.  Will do the epoxy in the morning and then turn ferrules and install grips on Saturday.

Went to a cobra event last night and had a hit of the new irons, biggest surprise was how similar in size the CB and Tour heads are, feel is fantastic, definitely a step up from mim. Will have a proper fitting to really see if there is any performance benefit.

I agree.  When I went in initially, I was thinking of doing a combo on CB/Tour but after hitting them side by side, I am leaning towards straight Tour.  They are a little more forgiving, numbers were the same if not better, so why not get that little extra forgiveness.

Wow! Those look so good. I don’t suppose you’d be able to do me a solid? I have really been wanting to see a production version of the CB sole compared to the MB and Tour. If there’s any way you could take a quick pic of that I’d be super grateful!

Was thinking of going combo with the MB but the MB was about 35% smaller vs the CB, and the CB was roughly 10% smaller vs the King Tour.

I am surprised that Cobra wanted to do the split with CB/MB because after hitting them, definitely most should opt for the Tour/CB combo, Straight CB or Straight MB.

The CB felt and performed fantastic.

The CB look pretty good behind the ball. I would love a combo too. But the sole differences seem pretty drastic. I think I could happily go straight CB through the set.

I hit these the other day..honestly liked the MB the best out of all of them I was originally thinking of a tour/cb combo now I’m thinking of swapping in the MBs for the cb’s in my combo…all are good options though surprised how well I hit the blade and it was super consistent
