I remember wearing those wide striped polo's like the one the kid who is kneeling is sporting. 

 

I also noticed that the woman who is stealing stuff and putting it in her purse is wearing an ill-fitting latex glove.  That way, when security stops her she can claim someone else slipped the goods into her purse... and they have nothing on her since there are no fingerprints.  She is also not displaying her phone number.

On our vacation in NYS last month we went to Utica-Rome Speedway, a 1/2 mile clay track for a 61 lap (Richie Evans Memorial) Short Track Super Series Big Block Modified show.  They were joined by 602 crate modifieds.  Great entertainment  and felt good to get some dust in the nostrils!

I know what you mean. I moved from Dallas to a small rural community in East Texas at the start of my sophomore year in high school. My long hair and rock ‘n roll blasting from a pair of Jensen 6x9’s didn’t really fit into the scene, which was heavy C&W. Interestingly, the lifestyles ended up blending quite nicely! Still, I was in my 50s before I could enjoy country music.

My old house in LA was in South Central. I was the only white boy within like 10 miles. My friends were Rollin 60s. 

 

Man, I can talk all day about that life. Cube got out. His high school was a block away. I get where he came from.

I hear you and am glad that he (and you!) were able to get out. And I really don’t know much about his music - I never got into rap - but I could appreciate his roots. Just seems like he’s gone all Kanye. Long way from f tha police.

I tried to find a Nathaniel Rateliff but then I got busy.  Going to see them this weekend.  Pretty excited, I think they’re great.
