Stiff... Stiff.......                                            TX!!!!!!!!

Originally got this from testing a driver of one of the girls on the womens team

Synced up great with his tempo and numbers were in line

I think he’s been doing it since

Didnt know he has converted the 3wood too!

That's a cool story! And he's playing a tour event while most of us here are sitting commenting on peoples bags.. 😬

i-blades are timeless classics.

Between iBlade, i210, Blueprints, and the G400 driver, 2016-2019 will be remembered as a golden era for Ping. They have lost their way a bit since then (particularly with irons). But basically they had perfected what they do in that time and you have to find ways to sell new stuff.

It’s been said a bunch on this forum, but it’s really wild how many iblade and i210 sets you see in tour bags opposed to s59 and i230…

Haven’t the i230’s been well received by tour pros?

Love this bag. The 425 version of the Alta CB in the 430 head too. Very interesting. Little inspiration to just always play what works and not let the ego take over. Numbers don’t lie.

That Alta CB is actually a stiffer profile than the tour 65/75 and rogue 130 from the 425 stock shaft offerings.

I see a fair amount of i230's?  The drivers are always good and get a little better each release.  A lot of free agents playing the G430.  The G400 was great but there have been improvements.

Hey @Ferguson , this reminds me… When I was new to the site I started a thread and got some blowback from a couple of the regulars… I apologized by saying “My bad, sorry” and you were thoughtful enough to point out the redundancy there… Would “timeless classics” also be considered a bit redundant??? Just made me wonder.

*no offense KP, I don’t care and not trying to be “that guy”. Just reminded me of an incident 😊

I totally disagree that "My Bad, sorry" is redundant!

My bad is saying you made a mistake and sorry is apologizing for that mistake, so you were not wrong, IMO.

I was going to say the same thing.  I am heading back to iBlades/s55's after not able to play the i59's well last year.

I am a weekend warrior but there was such a difference.

You look on Tour and all the guys who went to i59's have gone back to iBlades or s55's.

Some of the i230 players like Cink went back to i210's.

I see Hatton is still in i230's but makes me wonder.

I love the look of the i525's.  I owned i500's and they play really well but "clicky" sounding which was very hard to get over.

iBLades are so soft and s55's are so crisp.

- Something that continues to go long off the tee in the fairway
- Something that is a fairway finder when needed and long
- Something that high, consistent and helps with par 5’s
-  Something to help with long par3’s and short par 4’s

-  Something metal, lots of them and go the gaps I need
- Something metal, 2x of them and helps me 120y and in
- Putters - limited rotation because I cannot afford misses

Golf is what you make of it.  Play grateful and accepting. We are all lucky to have it.

Rather than expecting lets all try and appreciate instead.
Treat people the way you want to be treated

I think it’s safe to say none of the latest iron releases from Ping have gone down well. The i59 has been a monumental fail, and having rushed out to test them on release I was very underwhelmed. At least this year they managed to get the G430 drivers in players bags which is a win for them.

Come on PING, iBlade 2.0. Go back to cast, use that magic CTP you're known for, and maybe add a tungsten toe screw if you're feeling frisky for more MOI.

They would sell like hotcakes. I still regret getting rid of my clean set of iBlades.
