First I'm hearing of this, hopefully they can keep it in stock better than the One-Step shaft.

Interesting... I have the Fujikura MC putter shaft in firm. I like it, but honestly couldn't really tell a difference after removing the stock scotty cameron shaft out of my special select NP2

I was trying to find what each one looks like, you have to go to the Retrobuild page and can see the colors there. Kinda dumb hopefully they show a better view of each one on the shaft page itself.

It would appear these shafts are only for straight in plumber's neck style putters.  That is the only negative I can see.

Really the only option for a full graphite putter shaft.

Ordered a white matte shaft today, for a milled Anser in the ‘bubba’ finish.

 

Can’t decide on color for my other two Ansers, will pair with iomic grips, again, what color….

 

white iomic with white kbs matte white?

 

 

eyeing the baby blue color and can’t decide if that red color will work.

Mine came in over the weekend and went immediately into my Newport; chrome because I couldn’t deal with the black MMT look with a oil can head. Firm, but not boardy. I’m curious as to how I’ll do with it long term.

For the guys building with these, what's the balance like? Swingweight similar to standard steel shafts or slightly counterbalanced?

Just ordered one.  I've tried about every other graphite putter shaft out there and currently have 5 other types in various putters so may as well throw this one into the mix.

Really interested in the reviews of this. More and more pros seem to be going to graphite putter shafts. Debating on making the move myself.

So my buddy helped me install this on Saturday and I got to try it for the first time today.

 

I like it a lot but I have no standard of comparison. I only became aware of aftermarket putter shafts recently.

 

It’s a lot heavier than the steel shaft that was stock. Seems to make it a little easier to swing it back and through on plane. Feel is a bit more muted - feels less soft/sweet and more muted/solid.

 

Seems to help; I’m happy with my purchase.

you can’t; these shafts are not designed for a shaft over hosel installation.

I am going to order because I love the LAGolf shafts, but I think the thing these other shafts are missing is the wieght.  The LAGolf are 135 so that's a huge difference, in addition to the stiffness (which these should be able to match).

Which do I like the best...Fujikura MC Firm.  Just wish it wasn't $250...it's overpriced frankly but it's awesome to me.

The point was more that you capitalized ALL which is quite a lot to have especially since some are so unique and not readily available and sounded a bit elitist/condescending; at least in my opinion.     

 

I'd actually like to see the list of all of them and maybe a why you liked or disliked them.   Not to prove anything,  but to share some information on how each influences the feel and performance of the putter and what you look for.     Your comment about Patterson doesn't help since you said THE and not ALL.  😁

Shaft showed up a day early.  Went ahead and built it out.  Went a little unorthodox and threw a ferrule on because the colors couldn't have been more perfect between the shaft, ferrule, and head.  Sometimes it's fun to build them different!
