We're splitting hair here, but Jin Young might have reclaimed her Rolex No. 1 over Nelly with this win.  She also raised her Hall of Fame points to 20; 5 behind Lydia Ko.

A little unexpected, but with Jin Young you can never rule it out. Fantastic final round on a tough course, and a winning strategy on the playoff hole 

 

Minjee is going to rue this one. Fantastic bounce back after the early double, but too little down the home stretch.

Angel seems to have found her game, but her game has always included more volatility than gasoline vapors in an enclosed space. Fun to watch.

I have lurked for a while and posted occasionally a few years ago but as a huge JYK fan my heart was pounding in that playoff but happy to see her win again.

 

And Minjee had a great tourney also, enjoy watching her game.

Min Lee was -4 on her round after the friendly 12th hole but finished even par.

the 9th hole is a walk up the hill looking at the big new expensive clubhouse (not sarcastic, it’s really cool) the apt are way across the street. Guarantee that’s not in the decision making. All the members talk about is the clubhouse so not sure why they don’t show it off. 

Actually Apts were a supreme issue that even made it to a vote.

Club leadership also was in favor of the rerouting.

Minjee didn't look good around 1st time on 18th hole.

 

Blocked wedge a bit from fringe.

She even blocked put that barely sank for playoff.

 

Was surprised didn't use putter from thin fringe.

 

However, after the miss it was an emotional burst. Many could see her crying. Not hard to see when your only 5ft way.

Original playoff putt was off shaved edge of fringe w less grass and more dirt, slightly uphill and pretty straightish.

I can handle Minjee not taking the win but seeing her lose her smile like that isn’t fair

Horrendous finish by Minjee sadly. 16 was bad enough...but the putts on the first playoff were shockers. She seems to become extremely nervous and timid when under the pump...sad to watch.

Not sure which putt (for par) was better; Minjee in the playoff or Lexi at the 72nd of 2021 USWO.  Unfortunate for the Minjee fans (like me).

Those two are my two favorite players on this tour. I’d take a playoff between them every week. The LPGAT can find a sweet spot around them — they are very likable players. When the Tour pushes Korda or other Americans it gets out of whack. Nelly Korda just isn’t a likable figure out there imo. Wonderful player, but I’m just not into it.

Did you mean "not sure which putt was [worse]"?
 

"+1" on hoping MinJee bounces back from this disappointment.
