LOL. The ajummas are fierce! Ajumma doesn’t really mean Aunty though. It’s the word for a Middle Aged/married women. Jin gets to be agassi for awhile yet.

Re bolded, you don't know that but you're free to surmise just as I can that the Oz team would have done better at the Crown with Grace Kim in the team. Finishing second is just first of the losers.

 

Sarah's good form, really? This calendar year we have 2 x MC, a T47, T38 and 2 x T13.

 

At the Crown she had some 'must make putts' (commentator comments not mine) of 6 to 8 feet in the final that she missed.

 

No matter though, after getting to the lead briefly in R2 of this event she finished with a 75, 74 so normal service is resumed.

Seriously, enough with the weather reports. Heck, it's not even summer. What did they expect in May in SF? I teed off yesterday and it was 39 degrees. Beautiful day.

Some middle-aged ladies ("Ajumma" = correct context here?) at my club do confuse me ... i.e. many wear the knee-high socks (similar to the example in @Argonne69's recent post above).

 

While blokes like us would be crucified for passing comments on ladies' fashion at the golf club

... there is a moderately-dressed lady in our group (Juli Inkster/ Annika = her preferred style) who, upon seeing this regular occurrence of 'aunties' wearing knee-high socks with short skirts ... would observe/remark "mutton dressed as lamb" (!!)

Really?  I guess I have not been following her closely enough to notice.  Thought she was in the hunt a couple of tournaments this year  (but you're right, best finish for her)

 

Been a blur following PGA and LPGA at the same time with interesting stories on the side this year: Day, Vu, Kitayama, Grace Kim, JYK "back at it", etc.

She has won 2x worldwide - she won the Aussie PGA against a stacked field and won on the LET in her native SA.

My grade for her is that she performs up to the standard she's delivered at KLPGA; but she keeps underperforming to her talent.

Id say she's been performing well so far this season, she seems to be in the mix more often than not. She can get by with her ball striking so when on her "off" weeks and she is still making cuts.

 

Only her, Grace, and Natty have performed well as rookies. Alexa Pano hasn't made a cut yet, let's hope that changes soon! I expect Lucy Li and Javaree Boonchant to right the ship too.

Itsy Bitsy Spider Red, I Think... same model Jason Day used to win a ton of tournaments during his heyDay.  Now he's changed it to a black color but still the same model.   

 

Now, if only Angel Yin could putt as well as Jason Day (and be more insightful, less gibberish on the course).  And no, she doesn't need his vertigo and/or backaches.    

 

Good to see Angel back contending, albeit sporadically so far.

For those (not you @iBanesto) that didn't read previous posts in this thread the young lady in the picture above and (in the tv video of holding hands) is the 17 year old daughter of JYK's caddie. Who JYK considers her little sister as clearly was explained on the telecast.
