2024 mizuno MP iron range

Are you sending them to Discount Dan to double check your ordered specs?  I am just curious because I have a second fitting Friday and will be ordering 243 or 245's afterwards.  They are both amazing clubs and couldn't decide after my first fitting.  Unfortunately GG only had one of the three shafts recommended by their swing optimizer so I am going to see another Mizuno fitter.

For some reason if you order from DD they have the manufacturer send the order to them and then they ship it to you.

yes that’s what it is. They also check the specs for you which is nice. Delays my order by 5ish days but worth it I suppose

Placed my order of 243's from Discount Dan's this morning. Going to be a long few weeks. Coming from i230's, and I'm ready for the feel of a solid, forged iron again.

I have never received a shipment where the box has been opened and resealed to check specs.  I guess they just assume mine are correct.

Awesome thanks for the info I really appreciate it!  Do you know if all the new builds have the icon ferrules by chance or is that something I need to specify when ordering?  I've never purchased from DD but it sounds like I should be!

You would need to request the icon ferrules. They are a upcharge this year but it’s not much and so worth it!

Totally agree they look awesome, especially with the blue MCC grips I saw on another thread.  Thanks again!

That picture was mine.  The icon ferrule upgrade is $5 per.  Well worth it.  Debating ordering some T24 wedges just so I can have them built with the same ferrules and grips.  Damn I've got the sickness.

DD has  been great to work with. Disappointed the clubs had to travel out to Oregon but worth it to save good $

Subjective on the ferrules. I actually find them distracting by the ball.

I wondered that. Never had colored ones and was thinking it might be a distraction.

I was litteraly going to comment this so many times when i see the ferrules being different then black. I put a used iron down that had the common blue ferrule mizuno uses and it was soo distracting. Looks great as you said sitting up but by the ball i just wouldnt be able too. And i like turbulators on the 430 drivers lol so i dont know.

I requested the Icon ferrules to pair with my blue Lamkin UTX grips. Very excited to see the combo in person.

Man, would if I could.  Not available in lefty.  Years ago I had the T7’s in Ion blue, offered those in lefty.  Such a cool finish, although the color wears off the sole pretty quickly.

I've only played two rounds with mine and have plastic on 2 clubs I haven't used yet 🤣. I figure why take it off until I need to 🤷‍♂️

Absolutely love my 243’s.  The look has grown on me and they feel great.  Only been hitting balls into my net with SkyTrak but the courses should be opening within a few weeks.

Alright the 243’s are ordered.  PW and GW are bent 1 degree weak.
