Anyone playing the new Fli-Hi? How is the feel, turf interaction, and forgiveness? Kind of love the look of the black over chrome.

Looking to switch out my I500 3 iron, that I essentially use as a driving iron, with something that launches higher and has more spin.

I’m playin a 3i - love it actually. Don’t know about it launching higher tho. Flies like a 3i should. Starts low to apex then down in descent. No balloon or anything. Forgiveness and turf interaction are on point.

Works fine for me - but I still might switch out to my tried/true tensei pro white 100TX

One just magically popped up on ebay in lefty with a Ventus Blue HB 80s for $160...no brainer - trigger pulled!

For the new (24’) fli-hi or the 22’?  That’s an amazing find if 24’!

 

I play mine with the Ventus Blue HB. Love the club!

Yep the '24 fli hi. I don't believe the '22 was available in lefty. I couldn't hit the buy it now button quick enough.

I was at a shop today and they said 18 days for Mizuno right now.

There’s been lots of rave reviews and hype over the 240-line of irons and deservedly so. They’re great! I went from 225’s to 245’s and love the improvements. 
 

The Fli-hi seems to have been more of a “quiet” update from the last version tho. Not too much hype, reviews on YouTube etc…. I upgraded my 2022 Fli-hi with this 2024 version and wow!  I think this is the quiet “surprise” of the MP line. It’s so good!  I don’t know what Mizuno did to improve it from the previous version but they did it well, really well!  It looks/sounds/feels great and so addicting to hit.

It seems you are a high swing speed player, which I believe is the target consumer for the Fli-Hi irons. I would like to try one but my expectation is that because of too low a swing speed my Fli-Hi shots would fly too low. I don't know my actual swing speed number but at sea level flat terrain I carry a driver about 240 yards and carry a 7-iron 152 yards.

I am an average swing speed player but I tested the 4 Fli-Hi and ordered one on the spot. You don’t need to be fast to play it.

KBS tour X - no stepping just standard. Been amazing for me so far - mid flight penetrating flight - even at 2* weak.

I’ve still got the 5 iron in the MP-18 MMC Fli-Hi. It is excellent. It has 20g of tungsten placed low and performs like the others, but looks like a regular iron. Very fond of

it.

I have the 3i and 4i.  Still haven't fully got my bag situated in that area but there will be at least one of them in there permanently and possibly even both will be staying.
