Left Dash Pro V1X but with better visibility

Long time lurker, first post. I currently game the left dash but they don't make it in yellow. I'm looking for similar characteristics, mid to high launch, low driver spin, high green side spin but in a bright colored ball. Before you say go to the optometrist...I have, and I usually wear glasses on course. 🤓 That is, if I don't forget. Kind of funny but golf was the impetus to get my eyes checked out, I'm notoriously bad at following my ball flight *humble brag incoming* particularly on driver. My ball speed is a touch over 160mph which is hard for me to follow. Any recommendations are welcome! Bonus points if it saves me some dough with a DTC ball.

Calloway's Chrome Soft X LS comes in Triple Track Yellow, and might be the closest.   Taylormade's TP5x comes in a plain yellow, and probably is worth trying too.  I currently alternate between these two and the Left Dash, although usually all in white.  I find them all pretty similar in performance, although the feel is little different.

Yellow Callaway would be closest in performance. Very good greenside spin as well.

OEM - Chrome Soft X LS(Yellow with triple track)

DTC - Vice Pro Plus(Shade or Lime Green)

 

These are the two balls I either currently play or have in the past.  They are both very visible and offer the similar characteristics of the left dash which is still in my rotation of balls.

FWIW, they are hard to find but for the moment Callaway does still make a yellow version of Chrome Soft X LS without the silly Triple Track marks on it. 

 

I personally didn't feel like Chrome Soft X LS was all that similar to Pro V1x Left Dash. But they are meant to be in the same general performance range.

Where have you seen the yellow without the triple track? I’ve been searching but haven’t found any.

I may have been mistaken. A couple months ago the plain yellow ones were still listed on Callaway‘s website. They are gone now. The last time I saw some on eBay was several weeks ago, as well. Dang.

I love the left dash, but since they are hard to come by, I think I’ll try the CS X LS. I like that they come in yellow, but will they fly as high as the Left Dash?

I’ll play the Z-Star XV when I’m not able to get the left dash, pretty close for me, they are available in Yellow as well.

Good call. Good timing too, looks like they’re having a 3 for 2 sale. I also just picked up the vice pro plus to test out

I’ll typically grab about 12 dozen every year when they go on sale just in case.  The left dash has been a pain to keep around because its out of stock so often.

They even have the half white half yellows now

CSX LS is softer but does basically the same thing off the driver and log irons due to the aero package on the ball. Spins better around the green though. Not quite as durable.

I would say the closest I've tried is the Vice Pro Plus. Through some speed training lately, and some Dr. Kwon drills, my ball speed is regularly 170+, but at almost 58 years old, my eyes can't really see a white ball 330 yards away anymore, but a lime green Vice Pro Plus seems like it's flashing out in the fairway (hopefully)

Oh great, now my day is shot because I'll be diving into this Dr. Kwon rat hole!! I kid, good stuff, thanks for sharing!
