2 3/4" Golf Tees...Too Short or Just Right?

I just ordered 1000 bamboo 2 3/4" golf tees from Wedge Guys. I play a Titleist 905T with 400cc head. I hit a draw and I do prefer to tee the ball semi-high. 

 

Anyone playing 2 3/4" tees vs 3 1/4"?

The actual height of 2 and 3/4” is fine for my preferred height but a couple courses I play have spongy tee boxes and if the tee isn’t long enough it won’t have enough purchase in the ground to stay stable at my preferred tee height, so I always use the 3 and 1/4”.
 

Once had a ball fall off tee mid swing during tournament with the shorter ones , will never risk it in future.

2 3/4" is perfect for me. I rarely have the equator of the ball above the crown of the driver.

I have those exact same tees and they work beautifully for me. That said, one of my frequent playing buddies tees his ball very high compared to me and they would never work for him. For me, longer tees just typically mean using more effort to get the tee into the ground with no added benefit. In very soft ground with higher grass, I could see the need for an extra 1/4 to 1/2", but for me 2 3/4" is great.

2 3/4" work just fine for me and don't break as often as taller tees, then again I don't tee the ball 3" off the ground.

3 1/4 but going to 4". AOA +5 with driver. 3 1/4 are perfect if the grass is not thatchy... Tons of studies proving that teeing it high will let it fly...

I've been using the Step Up Martini Tees for a couple years now and they are perfect. 

 

I buy a pack and they last me over a year. They are unbreakable and give constant tee height that perfect for my driver.

3.25 for me. But I imagine 2.75 would be just fine for a 400cc driver.

Use 2 3/4 on a 460 switching between that and a 3 1/4 depending on the tee grass length and type plus hardness of the ground.

I use the longer tees and push it down to desired height.

I use 2.75” with my TSi3 driver and they are perfect.

2 3/4" is perfect for me.  If I want to launch it higher, I just barely stick it in the ground.  I find most of the time, I stick longer tees pretty far into the ground.

They should not make any tees larger or smaller than 3 1/4 inches.   Just my preferences.
