I wouldn’t say it’s for “certain” people. I’m a nobody that knows nobody, I just called in to ask questions and that’s what happened. I’m not even sure it will work, but worth a shot. I think it depends more on the Callaway rep you get as opposed to who’s calling in. I will still be trying to get one in an hour. If I get 2 I already have an agreement with someone on here to sell one at cost. If that falls thru I will gladly post on here at no mark up. Good luck all!

I probably could have worded that better. I probably should have said certain reps are doing this for people that call in. Either way, I would rather have seen them be consistent in telling people they need to wait. Again, happy for those that got them, but seems the messaging on this one is not all above board.

As to your point, I agree. Yeah, it's cool to have a putter with the same head as some of the hot names on Tour, but people are taking this way too seriously.

looks like pga superstore specifies that this will ship early september. The Odyssey website does not. Pretty strange that the actual company selling this wont tell us when we will actually get this putter.

 

Makes the whole thing seem like they are not ready to produce and sell this putter, but want to capitalize on the recent hype surrounding it.

I guess my Cally Rep was finally right.  Looks like this is a full blown release and a lot more available than 500 as some reported.

Now that this is being revealed as a large scale release, with putters not even shipping until september, I will probably hold off until then. I also imagine that the resale market won't be as hot as the Rahm putter. So maybe I can get a used one for less around christmas.
