I recently started playing the AMT White as well and not sure why that shaft never really seemed to catch on. I love the weighting decreasing as you move through the bag like we do with our woods.

Lets remember this is the same guy who put X100 steel wood shafts in his TS3 driver and fairway wood just a few years ago. Seems like he has come full circle!

I've played them for 7 years and have really enjoyed them, especially when I've played the ball just a little further back to keep the flight down a little. Wonderful feel and love the transitional weight.

They are amazing shafts and its a wonder more aren't doing it.  It makes playing golf that much easier and each shaft is built for that iron.  

10+ years ago I had Steelfiber Player Spec flighted and weighted shafts. 

Each one was specific for that iron and they were hands down the best shafts I ever played.

Just butter and hand made.  But no one bought them.

I am a big fan of the AMT's.

I bought a set of xforged CB's with AMT x100's on a whim awhile back.....hands down one of the best sets I've ever owned and I know the shafts are a big reason why. I love seeing that low penetrating ball flight from a well struck iron.

 

I was also curious why more people haven't adopted them.

The blacked out shafts from True Temper are nice.  Is the finish durable?  Is it a coating that when worn will show what's underneath?

I need to order the AMT X100 in a 2 iron shaft to soft step in my Mizuno Pro Fli Hi. I had the tour issue variant of this shaft 2 years ago, LOVED them!!!

The most unique thing to me is that you can flight one so low, and then hit a moon ball with the next shot - same club. The versatility is pretty unmatched, for many of the shafts I've tried. Have a spare 6 iron with a C-Taper S+ and the difference is night and day - great, but one-dimensional.
