Jones Blind Draw Sale - bags

Just a heads up, but Jones is doing a blind draw sale right now on some of their bags.

 

I picked up 2 original bags, one for me and the wife.

 

Looks like there's still some originals left, but the players series is already sold out.

Got stuck with the Metalwood State bags last time I tried this. No more unless I can be guaranteed I won’t get one of those abominations again.  Wish they had some A2 backpacks though.

$125 for a Trouper, $110 for a Classic or Utility ... but you don't get to pick a color ... and it could be a lightly used return or sample ... there maybe some embroidery or other small defects on it ... there are no returns ... and no warranty ...

That's why they are being sold off for such a discount.

 

I believe Jones does a regular black friday sale at about 40% if you have to pick a color.

Thanks OP.  I ordered the trouper.  I don't really need a 4th golf bag, but not knowing what you're going to get is a little exciting.  Like Christmas when you open the package.

Until you get a Metalwood State carry bag or the bright yellow Scout backpack…..the blind draws ended up being a complete bust for me in the past.  I think the only way I would have been happy with the “Blind Draws” is if I was actually blind and couldn’t see what I received.

If you ordered a Trouper, they wouldn't give you a Metalwood bag (I don't even think they sell the Metalwood any more). It would be disappointing if they gave me a Trouper 2.0 with a random country club logo on it.

I'm really hoping I don't get a 'Metalwood' bag - not sure if that's even an option anymore.

 

If I happen to get something I don't like, it'll get donated to the FIL. He is not going to be picky.

Wish the Classic and Utility weren't grouped together. I'd love a Utility at that price but not a huge fan of the way the Classic looks.

Got my package today.  Super quick shipping considering I ordered Friday night and got it Tuesday.  It's a black trouper r with a logo.  Don't see any imperfections.  Logo is fine, but don't really like solid black bags.  Not sure what I'll do with it.

I just left for vacation and don't remember specifically.  Didn't recognize the logo and it didn't have any words.  Something I wouldn't really care about having on there.

I’m very happy with what I received. Trouper-R 2.0 in fern color. No logos or monograms. Bag looks great. I can see some loose threads so it must have been a “factory second”. Even matches my head covers.
