Shadow Ban from Reddit

Long time lurker of Reddit Golf and Golf WRX. Joined Reddit about a year ago, noticed posts weren’t posting. Contacted support and told I’m “shadow banned.” No political posts on golf subreddit and very few non-controversial question posts on a Reddit political forum. Very confused and disappointed since I enjoyed their website. I’m a level headed dude who doesn’t argue online and I don’t even have a FB, twitter, or insta etc accounts.  Feel like I’m being censored for nothing. Any one else have this happen?

Thought about doing that bcjim. It’s annoying they control and censor like that so I’m at least protesting a while longer lol. There aren’t too many websites if any with as much activity as their golf subreddit unfortunately

The obvious solution for all concerned - post your question on Reddit. 🤣

Matt I’m just curious if others had similar experiences. It’s not a priority in my life just something to pass time when I have it.  All good brother I hope u have a great Labor Day.

The only difference between reddit and 4chan is the geniuses that run reddit think they can IPO and make money off the dumbest people alive. 

 

Which isn't a bad strategy for a quick grift. But those idiots run out of money eventually.

It happens, and it's been happening more frequently as Reddit's attempted to become a "real businsess". System goes haywire and detects your account as likely fraudulent.

 

Only option is to make a new one, and build up some karma to "prove" yourself.

Always found that sub to be low quality. Felt like every other day there's some karma farm post that says "One of us! One of us!" Or, "Guys, I made it through a round without losing a ball!" 

 

I delisted that sub from my feed long ago and will never go back.

Yeah I found it entertaining at times as some of the topics were funny and i love most anything related to golf but doesn’t matter at end of the day. Used to read the sand trap forum as well just for laughs, not sure it’s actually a think anymore
