Looking for a set of larger cavity back heads. I am currently gaming Mizuno TZoid Pro Plus which I love. Looking for something similar with a larger head and forged. Any recommendations?

Either the Miura Passing Point PP-9003 ... or the PP-9005

the yams and prgrs arnt   gigantic but they are on the fuller side for sure. the yams are a more rounded  ,softer look, the prgrs are a full  pro sepc  look  to the, bit squared off toe, VERY full thru the cavity and the smallest offest u will see in a cavity.
needs t osay imact with both is  fabulous aas both  were  made at ENDO JAPAN.
not as soft as others so they give feedback,
the yams  have a full topline and middled , these are almsot impossible to  best.

I ended up picking up a mint set of the Yamahas. Came 1/2” shorter than standard and I need half inch long. Waiting on extensions to come back n before I hit them. Seem really nice. Top edge is remarkably thin compared to the Mizunos

I found a set of those 2010 Yamahas. Took them to the range today. Wow! They are really nice. Much nicer than the Mizunos I was playing. What year of the Yamahas are most desired and are the PRGR as nice?

From what I researched the 2010->2012 are most desired due to being Endo Japan forged (I think).

I'm late to the party, but was going to recommend the Yamahas too.  Vastly under-valued on the used market.  Another brand to look at is Royal Collection, something like their SFD X7 line.  A bit larger overall, and a deep cavity.  PRGR has a lot of options, their Data line (like the 801 I have) are a very deep cavity.  Another interesting line is the BIIM line, which is a Bridgestone line.

Photos are pretty hard to show head size differences, and none of these are LARGE, but here is an example of a few I pulled off the shelf to snap a photo of:

From top to bottom:

-BIIM

-TM 300

-Yamaha Inpres V-forged

-PRGR Data 801

-TZoid Pro

-Srixon I506

-Royal Collection SFD X7

-Bridgestone J33

-Mizuno MP-14 for size comparison sake

And a couple more photos showing some of the larger heads, and a quick trace comparing the MP14 and RC SFD.

I’m currently gaming the Mizuno JPX Pro 825s, coming from MX-23s and MX-200s.  These are all classic Mizuno GI one piece forged irons that IMO offer a nice blend of feel and forgiveness.  The 23s and 200s have more offset and a bigger blade and sole than the 825s.

Thank you! I had someone else recommend the PRGR ID BL??? As well. Have you ever played the Yonex E Zone? They appear to be a little larger than standard.

I've got a little side hunt going for a set of 2013's. I know 2015's are awesome, but hear great things about the '13's, so want to have a go at them as well.

I was on the lookout for either one, in the best condition I could find. Couldn't pass these up. There are a lot of decent 2013's on Ebay, but these were a little better. Almost all of them are from Japan. Only took 4 days to get them here.

Thanks. Just finished building them last night. Just in time to put them away for the winter. Hopefully I can get a couple rounds in.

i dont know whey SrIXON  dont get th kudos they shud get.
its dunlop for gorsakes , their  stuff is as   good as a club can get, i preume bec  its a bit more generic,

  which is just wrong.
