I’m honestly pretty shocked at how well he’s moving in those caddying videos. I didn’t think we’d ever see him walking normally again. What would you consider a successful outing here? I’d be impressed with a made cut and a healthy/mobile finish.

No cut! Tiger prolly thinks he will win 🤣

 

But if he makes it walking all 4 days without his condition degrading badly and can just finish in DFL but not too far off the pack, that be a win in my book.

As long as he finishes he's made "the cut". 

 

Who knows what he will do.  I'd like to see an accuracy focused Tiger who can putt.

What's amazing is after all these accidents and injuries, he still hits the ball like a god. It's his putting and short game that has deteriorated (in comparison to prime Tiger). 

 

Covid last week had me re-watch the 2008 US Open. Tiger didn't even hit the ball well, though with the injuries he had, he hit it incredible to be fair. His putting was unbelievable and that's how he always putted from 1996-2009. Such an interesting tournament. The whole field buckled to the pressure of Tiger. Were that tournament held today at Torrey under the same conditions, the winning score would be at least -7. No one in today's game touches prime Tiger, but the field is noticeably better as a whole 15 years later.

Five days, he has the first tee slot for the Pro-Am on Wednesday.

 

And as a reminder, this is a very limited field.  I'm not sure what the final tally came to, but only 26 pros are listed for the Pro-Am tee times, and one of them is Lexi Thompson.

by tournament a month i'm guessing tigers only referring to february to july even if he made the fedex playoffs he would probably skip them in late august and september and no chance of any play in the fall season outside of the pnc and hero which dont really count imho.
