Wow Driver to a 7 wood is quite the gap. Guessing the 3/4 wood was out of the bag.

by my count 13 clubs including the putter so I think you nailed it

He has a 3 wood in the bag. Watched him play a couple rounds at the Walker Cup and my friend was on the bag. Will try to post some pictures of Preston from the Walker Cup later on. He is a big human being golf wise.

I was going to say, that is straight nuts jumping to a 7w even notched to a 5w.  

 

I did the same with g400 5w and g410 7w notched down to 4 and 6 woods, worked awesome.

Got to watch him Sunday at the Walker Cup, very impressive. With his background, you could definitely see him going far.

Always interesting seeing guys going with the retail Ping putters, but I guess some of them really love an ultra soft putter.

His entire extended family has been Ping staffers for 35 years. He could have any ping club he wants. This kid is impressive I see him doing some great things. Great family, great support system I’m rooting for him

Oh I know just interesting when they can have anything they get the basic off the rack option. 

 

Like I said I guess he likes a really soft face which could be hard to replicate on a PLD head.

Did get a laugh at the Walker Cup seeing him picking up conceded putts with the hole on the bottom of his putter 😂
