Cobra 2024

Aerojet LS was so low spin. Makes sense they added a rear weight to this model. Doesn't seem like a big jump forward otherwise. Looks very "stealth". Took a long time to get the AJ LS driver dialed in and I think I'm happy with it. The AJ LS 3 wood on the other hand is still a loose cannon. Titanium face and rear weight in the 3 wood looks like enough of an upgrade. Could be $400+ though....

Looking forward to trying these out. I really like my LTDx. I'd be more likely to find an aerojet head if though if it gives me any improvement. I still haven't even hit an aerojet head because the LTDx has been so good for me.

We're going on a Minimalist Adventure who knows were we'll end up:

Taylormade BRNR Mini Copper 13.5

Taylormade Sim Max 7w Mitsubishi Diamana F Limited 75S

Callaway Mavrik Pro 7-PW Project X Rifle Tour Flighted 105 6.0

Vokey SM9 50.08F

Don't have the catalog on-hand, but my rep's words suggested no immediate change to forged tec.

As in no new model for standard and one-length forged lines?

I would like to see an all Titanium driver but I will wait till they release a limited edition of it as Cobra puts out some of the nicest looking Limited Edition driver IMHO

Correct. His suggestion was that Forged Tec and Tour lines stayed the same, at least to begin the year. Only brought samples of Darkspeed and the new Air-X iron and wood lines to show, along new putters and existing driving iron and Tec hybrid. Mentioned new snakebite wedges coming though didn't have sales samples yet.

Last off-season during his visit, he showed King Tour/CB/MB and mentioned a new finish in Forged Tec coming, though he didn't have that sales sample yet. He's not the type to hold things back if he knows they're coming.

Do you recall seeing new wedges (Snakebite?) in the catalog?

Also, it appears your post with the photos was removed. To be expected I guess

They've only just come out this year, it's new wedges every 2 years right?

You might be right. Just seems like they're constantly coming out with new wedges: Snakebite(s), MIM, PUR, King. I'm hoping to pick up a set of the current 2023 Snakebite once they're discounted ha

Have all the new wood release images been removed online?! Can’t seem to find them anywhere now! Very intrigued with the new LS driver, the Aerojet was the quickest driver I tested last year but just wasn’t able to control the beast. If this new LS model is more stable it could very much be a winner for many!

Really anxious to see what they do with the putters.  I thought they felt fantastic with the Sik face tech.  Vintage line was a good start.  Hope they can refine the shapes a touch.

For the woods,  nothing has beat the ltdx line for me recently.  Tsr was so close, but no real gains except for slight forgiveness on off center strikes.  Ball speed is a wash and I have my driver set up so nice it would be a hard switch.  Curious to hear more about the woods.

The sleeper release for Cobra last year, imho, was the new king tec hybrid.  It never gets talked about and it’s fantastic!  If they improve on that thing, it would be impressive.

Cobra is always interesting as they tend to push some boundaries.

I liked the nova i had for a while but ultimately they need to fix the face dinging issue imo. Also would be nice for a weight kit included like mizuno, one area they can edge out a competitor. Last, their options are awful when ordering from cobra. You might as well buy in store as its basically the same thing with no options for loft/lie/grips/weighting. They have a solid lineup now from driver to putter, but i feel like they are missing out just a bit in some areas just from some minor details.

Good point on the weight kit.  It’s such a nice thing to offer.  Mizuno did it right.  With Sik tech now sold to LA Golf, I’m curious to see what they do with the putters, because they felt great.

Well and if you dont offer a kit, at least have different weights as an option when ordering. That should go for the woods as well. Just makes sense to my small brain anyways lol

Has anyone heard anything about the new putters? Any milled offerings? Any offerings with the LA shaft?
