Getting a trip to Michigan going for Sept 24.
Start at The Warren Course then a two spare days, followed By Arcadia Bluffs,  then Forest Dunes and the two Loops.
What to play on the spare days?
I have American Dunes, The Mines, Pilgrims Run, Tullymore, Stoatin Brae, Arcadia South and Eagle Eye as possibles.

All very good choices I would do Arcadia South that is now one of my favorites in the state and American Dunes or Pilgrims Run both great choices.

If you're going from South Bend to Arcadia, I'd play American Dunes and Pilgrim's Run.  American Dunes is directly on the way (US 31).  Pilgrim's is a bit of a jog over but it's not a huge detour - it's an hour from American Dunes - and it's worth it.

I like Eagle Eye but it's not worth the detour to Lansing.  Haven't played Stoatin Brae.  Pilgrims >>> Mines if you're going to jog over to Grand Rapids.   Haven't played Arcadia South.  You could also look at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor.

Toss in Manistee National with two 18 hole courses and their new “short course”.  Pilgrim’s Run was way nicer than the Mines course IMO.  Lots of blind shots at Mines and a funky layout.

Thanks for all that input. Probably go from Warren @ Notre Dame in South Bend to Pilgrim’s Run, then Arcadia Bluffs and Arcadia South.
Michigan is full of great golf courses.

Arcadia South is unusual in that Chicago GC is the inspiration for the greens. If you don’t like huge, undulating greens don’t play Arcadia South. Visually the course is a bit dull and repetitive because the terrain is mostly fairly flat and treeless, but fairway bunkers are everywhere.

Have you considered Angels Crossing?

If you can fit it in the short course at Manistee National was really cool.  We played it twice last month and it was some of the most fun I have have ever had on a golf course.  Can't go wrong with any of the options above.

What was the short course experience like? I haven’t heard or seen any reviews/anything at all about it yet.

The short course at Manistee National was really cool.  I think it just opened in like Sept?  I do not think they have done a great job advertising it, but they should it is amazing.  The picture on the link below do not do it justice.  Took us about an hour to play as an 8some.  Green complexes are really cool as well as bunkering, one was like 15-20 feet deep.  Holes are all pretty short so we had lots of hole in one looks using some of the slopes.  I have played treetops multiple time and would pick this 9/10 times.
