Steadfast Golf are Thieves !!

Writing this out of frustration with Steadfast golf out of Florida.  I had been getting tons of ads and emails in early fall from this shaft company advertising how great their shafts were and the fact that they have a 100% money back return policy.  So why not take a shot on $100 shafts since "I thought" I could get my money back if I did not like them.  I ordered a PXG and Callaway Driver shafts and a Callaway 3W shaft.  I tried them for less than 30 days and saw nothing that they advertised.  They were actually worse than the OEM shafts.  So started the return process and sent all three back to the company at the end of October.  It's now December and I still do not have my funds back.  I have contacted them repeatedly and only one person, Melanie, responds with this "Your information has been forwarded to our office manager over refunds under the direction of the owner.  When the refund is issued you will receive a confirmation.  Please note that I am not updated on the progression or status of refunds."  She refuses to provide the office managers contact info and says she is not allowed to do that.  Not that it is a lot of money but it's the principal of the thing at this point. Horrible customer service and will never purchase from them again.

This company has been known to be scam artists. Report them to the BBB and request a charge back on your credit card if you can. Looks like they already have a terrible rating and all the reviews say the same thing you're saying.

I’d call them daily if you’re getting nowhere with emails .Theyll get sick of the calls eventually & refund what they owe you.

Thanks for posting this....  The BBB complaints tell the story that the Owner must think that people will give up after awhile and go away.

 

              This will hopefully be a lesson learned that most start up small companies go t**** up because they fail to provide customer service and the lure of low price means nothing when the product sucks and the customer service is worse.

BBB's have no legal power or standing. They are a consumer complaint website but nothing more. They exist to give consumers a place to complain and hopefully warn others but they are useless.

It will not. The BBB is a joke.

The BBB supposedly works with governmental agencies but does not have any legal powers.

 

File a report with the FTC and your state's attorney general's office. They may take action once enough reports are filed.

It's kinda know their shafts suck and so does their guarantee. 

 

BBB is a joke, it's the Yelp for boomers (not calling you a boomer they just put too much faith into BBB). Best bet I'd say is contact your CC company, show them you returned the shafts within that 30 day guarantee and that you haven't gotten a refund yet and see if they can start a chargeback to get your money back.

 

A chargeback is usually much more impactful to a company than a BBB rating.

Update:  The Florida BBB worked awesome, and my funds have been returned within 24hrs of Steadfast getting the complaint from BBB.  Now I can buy some more Takomo gear.  This company is awesome.

 This must be awkward for those that said the BBB would do nothing and it's for Boomers....  Happy it worked out for you with a positive result.

 When you go to the BBB Site that someone linked it does show cases that Steadfast refunded $$$ because of the complaints filed so in this case apparently it worked.  😆
