OCD kicking in - Scotty Circle T Sticker on Yeti Cup

Good day all,

 

I purchased a Circular Circle T sticker from Scotty Cameron a while back.  I have actually done this a couple of times as I have a tendency to lose Yeti cups.  Each time I try to attach the sticker to the cup, bubbles inevitably form on the edges and it looks awful.  Has anyone had success attaching the sticker and it looks good?

Sticker quality plays a big part too, not sure how they are or how you're applying them. 

 

If you're just slapping them on directly expect a bubble, need to apply it from one side to the other to avoid air getting trapped underneath and sliding your fingers or a card or something. 

 

I'll upload pics of my Yeti, plenty of stickers on it, zero air bubbles and no lifted edges.

You'll still need to prep the surface. I wash it in hot water with dawn and wipe it dry, never had a issue.

Thanks, I think part of the problem is that I went middle first instead of edge to edge as suggested by Matt...

Does your lid lead too? 

 

I have another bag of stickers for like 2 to 3 more bottles right now.

I don't turn them all the way. Just enough to where they don't fall off. But i have the same problem.

The chug cap is an awesome idea but horrible execution. Going back to Hydro Flask next as my Yeti is on desk duty.

Using little heat from a hair dryer or heat gun on low will help with putting them on and removing any bubbles. I’ve been putting them on mine for years.

They have circle t on scottycameron.com most of mine come from orders or I'll see on ebay for a few bucks

Do your rubber seals get stuck on the glass side? I have two that are impossible to open the glass portion sometimes. Hydroflask has been good for me, but the Yetis seem more robust. We have a bunch for when people come over everyone gets their own color and no broken glass outside. Usually grab a few new ones during the sales.

What do you mean by glass sides? I have a tendency to over tightening my yeti, sometimes a struggle but they come off.

On the top where you drink from is a glass top with a rubber seal. You then close the top with the black plastic cover. 
 

Im talking about the glass chug side getting stuck to the bottle.

Oh yea, that's from over tightening. I'm fine if the bottle is dry but if it's wet from rinsing then there is no way it's coming off.
