They probably didn't expect such a huge demand for the TD MAX.  I really feel for you guys that ordered it and now have to wait awhile to get your orders. I will say this though.  It'll be worth the wait as it has the potential to go down as the GOAT of Cally drivers.  I don't say that very often.

How did anyone deal with the trade in bonus if it put your over the price of the club and/or $500? This is assuming they get back to where you can actually select components.

Trade bonus limit is 500. Your subtotal for purchase must be higher than the expected trade total, lots of people ordering balls with the driver if your trade total is 600 (with bonus), myself included.  Luckily I ordered one just stock on Sunday and it shipped already.

I traded in a Smoke TD.  Put me at 600, stock club was 599.99.  Added my favorite grip to push me over the limit.  

 

If you have enough "extra" you can always buy something else like a fairway wood, return the fairway wood, and they give you a gift card you can use on whatever/whenever at the main website or CPO.

i bet they're just soooo behind on filling these that they put back order to cover their own butts from people calling and asking about the order when it still lists as "shipping" and it passes the ship date

@underwater mentioned in the other thread they spoke with Callaway and they stated the TD Max are sold out and will no longer be restocked. Sounds like these were limited batch release.

I just spoke to CS about the status of my order since I show a date range and also back ordered" on my status. He said mine is showing in process with an estimated ship date of 6/12, but he did say that no more heads will be made, they are sold out, and it was a limited run. Makes you wonder why it wasn't marketed that way.
