Last Callaway fairway I hit was the epic speed which was decent but didn't feel anything special. Curious how the new smoke fairways perform 

I’ve got the TD in the 3 wood cranked up 1* of loft. I really enjoy it and have no issues with it off the deck or tee. I have the stock Denali black and I thought it may be low launching but the first ball I hit I was surprised. I hit it just as high as using a DI 7x or Tensei Blue 75x. I’ve got it in the 6.0 flex and it’s fine. I like it so much that I’ll be adding the 7 wood soon.

I love my triple ripple diamond 3 wood, N and +2

just changed the weight to drop by 2 grams and it’s even better

I emailed them today saying I wanted to cancel the order. They replied back and said they just got the heads yesterday, and they could ship out today if I wanted to keep the order.

 

I guess I’ll have an 8.5* head to try vs the 9* soon.

Nothing really shocking to update here, but just how fickle this game is.  

 

Last night I played in a 9 hole league and hit 7/7 fairways with the TDM but couldn't hit a GIR to save my life, 1 out of 9. 

 

Today played in 18 hole league on the same course and hit 5/14 fairways but 11/18 GIR

 

The driver was definitely off today, just goes to show it' snot a magic club, you still have to put a good swing on it to get good results.   Something just felt off in the driver swing today and was searching the entire round for it.

playing a hulk 6.5tx right now in the TDM at 8°. 
 

Have a tensei pro white 70tx with flat adapter coming. Looking for some more feel and something with a little more feel. I find the hulk makes me swing 110%, which also brings in some questionable strikes

No but I'm really tempted to based on the the Max FW i'm hitting.

I picked up a Max HL 3w (16.5) when the Ventus upgrade fluke was happening (dont ask if you dont know) and its a beast - forgiving,long and easy to hit off tee or fairway lie. It's higher launching and with a low spin shaft was a perfect for me, I couldn't get the TD 3w in the air with the ventus 8x the HL max no problem. Ordered the 3 Hybrid as well with Ventus and love it, easy to hit and pops off the face. Would recomend to do a demo first if you can the 3h was almost too long and had to loft it up. Just got to hit my TD Max Driver and it's pure, right in between the TD and the Max so lots of forgivness and still get some workability. Picked up about 10 yards over the Max and no massive hook misses like I had when demoing the TD.

I’m leaning toward the 21° and lofting  it down.  I got an apex UW and it absolutely does not work for me.   
 

Im also wondering if Callaway will let me do another order with a trade in or if I need to creat an account for my daughter 😂

Yep. This is the best I’ve driven the ball in a long time. I switched the weights with a 10 up front and 4 rear. This thing is good. It goes where I want and I can move it any direction. When I can do that, I’ve got a combination that straight up works.

I’ve got the driver weights at 12g rear and 5g front.  So good.  3 extra grams total from stock, shaft at 46”, d7

 

played after a monsoon yesterday and had some nutted drives at 275 carry, and got on front edge of a very narrow 300 yard par 4 (playing 10 yards downhill)

 

I swear everyone I play with goes out and gets one afterwards, I need commissions from Callaway!

 

side note .. Denali Blue 60x is garbage for me, which is funny as the black 60x was pretty good in the 3w before Ventusing 

 

i have a red ventus 6x that would love to go in the tour issue TD 5w I see on eBay with the cog option

Pretty sad that I ordered this on June 1, knowing my club’s Member/Guest is in mid July (my favorite tournament), thinking I’d have plenty of time to get a few rounds under my belt with it before that. Now I’ll be lucky to have it by then! What a horrible experience man.

I ordered on 5/31 and I have not received a tracking email. 8.5 degree with Denali Black XS. What setup did you go with?

i have major issues hitting a stock length driver - i've cut the danali shaft down and will be playing essentially a 460cc mini driver.  added some lead tape to the head that will make the front weight 10g and 16g in the back.

Ordered mine on 6/3 I haven't received anything yet. Sucks that it's not working out for you and I couldn't agree more about the experience!! Hey go out there and still kick a** in your member/guest don't let this cluster f take you away from your game!!!!

Thanks my man! Fortunately I was able to buy a 10K that seems to be super "point and shoot" to roll with in the mean time but I was really hoping to have this thing in. Definitely first and last buy from this company.

Same here. Never again from them. They have not responded to 3 emails over the course of the last 2 weeks just looking for any sort of update.

I ordered on 6/1. Just standard Project X Denali Blue 60, I have 5 different shafts to try out

This thing is so fun.  Every combo I've tried works better than about any recent driver I've tried. Now it's just tinkering, searching for perfection.

got the hzrdus smoke green rdx 75x to the range today, but they had a max distance of 250 today. So After crushing 2 off the range, I stopped. But for a real world test of the green, wow. missiles

I listed my 8.5 head in the bst. 
 

was hoping the extra forgiveness relative to the TD would help me, but instead it just launched substantially higher and spun about 600 rpm more. 
 

perhaps some of the spin is because in the regular head I play the 14g weight forward. This only has a 10g.
