I got to see them in person a couple of weeks ago and I was really impressed. Placed my order the other day so hoping to have it around early/mid March. Bonus points that the headcover matches my TBC driver cover perfectly, haha.

Not knudson, but I have it on my DF 2.1.  I like it a great deal.  Smaller diameter than the Press II 3°, so my stubby fingers get around it better.  Easy to index.  About 20 g lighter than the Press II, but that's what lead tape is for.  I'm sure it's slightly out of balance (I did the grip removal/install and didn't send it back for rebalancing) but still swings and strikes consistently.  The press isn't as noticeable on this one as the Press II.

 

I guess the fit doesn't need to be "perfect" to still work.  Recommended, especially if you've liked pistol grips before.

The grass looks pretty green for Michigan in February.

 

Great looking puter, BTW! Thirty-two alignment options are wild. They do very well with the custom options.

I am a big fan. Just love the way it sits in the pads of your fingers and has an immediate comfort factor compared to the more oval shape of the Press II 1.5*. The texture is nice as well, should be great in the hot and humid weather.

Hot dang that's nice! My DF2.1 is platinum with the white Accra shaft. The DF3 I ordered is black with a black Accra. These photos have me second guessing my choice......

Awesome to hear. I wasn't a fan of their other grips and down in here in South Texas hot and humid is our specialty!

Here is the pic at address and picking up a golf ball. It picks up the ball really easily, takes almost no pressure for the ball to stick in the hole.

I have the Accra in my Mezz.1 Max as well and I think it softens the feel of the putter a touch compared to a traditional shaft. But the shaft is still stiff and stable, a feel that I prefer in all of my putters.  The Pistol grip is really growing on my and initially I like the feel over the more oval shape of the Press II that I have on my Mezz.1 Max. It has a familiar feel in your hands like a traditional putter grip and the added texture is a nice touch that should perform in the heat of the summer.

Great feedback - I def concur on the Accra vs stock compare (at least the times I've rolled it in a store).  I too prefer the feel of the stiff shaft in that club.

 

On the grip, I think that would be the best option for me too (whenever I do jump the DF3.0 🤣).

Great pictures thanks for sharing!  With that platinum finish I can see more detail specifically the contours on the bottom.  Maybe it’s just me but I didn’t notice that with the pictures I’ve seen with the black finish.

Ordered my DF3 2 weeks ago now, and I received the confirmation that it's in production. I'll post some pictures when I have it in hand but specs are:

Standard Putting Style

DF3 Head - Black

ACCRA x L.A.B. - Black

35.5" Length

70 Lie Angle

Press II 1.5º Textured

Alignment Mark: 1 + 6 (creating a T)

It looks so good! The size is actually the only thing that really annoys me about my DF 2.1 (can be fickle to put in the bag and take it out).

My bank account might not have a good feeling about this. Only thing I need to know is wether I finally should give brooming a go, once DF3 is available as a broomstick

I see it’s been talked about but wanted to confirm the Accra shaft does make it sound different off the face. I tried the link side by side with the Accra and the normal steel shaft. The Accra definitely had a higher pitch sound too it. I ordered the DF3 with the tpt and we’ll see how it sounds and feels.

It is a really good putter. I had 2 of the guys in my group asking about it and trying it out as well. The greens were shaggy and bumpy, but the DF3 just gets that ball started on your intended line with no effort. Like my Mezz.1 Max the DF3 just swings itself easily and with no need of manipulation from your hands. The ball comes off the face with topspin and even with the ROUGH greens it started out with no hop and very little skid. Feel is soft, I think a touch softer than my Mezz.1 Max, and the sound is very muted.
