I actually really like these tourneys where the second tier players get a chance to shine. Don't always need big names - there was some absolutely excellent golf played this week.

 

And that course is positively pristine.

Although, I will say these two have looked like absolute goofballs swinging off the tee down this back 9.  Sami trying to hit draws and Jake trying to take something off to find the fairway makes these two look more like a casual club golfers than PGA tour players.

Pressure of the PGA tour and attempting to win there will always create interesting drama as opposed to watching wealthy employees of another format......

Agreed. It does. I’m bitter because I played Torrey south recently and we lost like 10 balls as a group in the rough. It’s been raining a lot since the tournament so they’ve barely cut it. 
 

it made me realize how huge a difference rough can make. 
 

seeing a pro’s ball sit up in the “rough” pains me, lol.

I find myself watching nearly every tour final 9 now.  It's more interesting than hoops and hockey for me.  Knapp has a beautiful, throwback swing.  Really impressive stuff.  Congrats.
