Thought it was a PGA event, not an elevated Korn Ferry event. Just looking at the players presently playing

All the good players have been playing nonstop for weeks. They aren't machines.

This entire season has been nothing but great stories. Career & life turnarounds, guys finally breaking through, out of nowhere wins a la Hideki; don't think the Tour could have scripted things any better.

 

Shame that Champ had such a relatively early tee time today and didn't get much coverage, but good that he's putting together some decent rounds. Would have been fun if he'd been able to get a little closer to the lead so the bombers could shoot it out.

 

First time PGA winner is likely for tomorrow, unless someone mounts a charge and the top falls off.

I'm enjoying watching this.  Knapp out there as a rookie and keeping composure after some poor shots then bouncing back with birdies.  Kid rips it....  could watch that swing all day.

New PGAT rule - all OWGR top 50 players on the PGAT must play in all PGAT events to appease the whiners on GolfWrx.

Blame the schedule not the players. There’s 5 signature events before the masters. Most of the top guys will play those + Phoenix/Dubai/Tampa/Texas. This event has unfortunately been dead on arrival.

Have had this on in the background for most of the afternoon.  Wasn't expecting much out of today, but it's turned into a somewhat pleasant little matchplay situation.  Haven't hated it.  Here's hoping Jake and Sami can keep it interesting coming down the stretch.

 

Although, I will say these two have looked like absolute goofballs swinging off the tee down this back 9.  Sami trying to hit draws and Jake trying to take something off to find the fairway makes these two look more like a casual club golfers than PGA tour players.
