Simpson got a sponsor's exemption into Wells Fargo, probably because he is from North Carolina.

Never mind. I see he didn't qualify for the WF.

 

W. Bryan qualified from Myrtle Beach under "Reorder Category - Cat. 37 thru 44".

 

He could have gotten into the Wells Fargo if he was in the Aon Swing 5, which got Horschel into the event.

Not that you get exemptions for where you live but Webb lives at Quail Hollow also.

It's been a contentious point this year, because this will be the fourth exemption he receives for signature events.  Not good enough to make the events based on regular qualifications, but since he sits on the Player's Advisory Board, they are handed to him.
