Anyone switch drivers from TSi3 to TSR2?

Anyone switch drivers from TSi3 to TSR2? If so what were your results? I am considering playing a TSR2 with a degree less loft than TSi3. Thinking is I would potentially get similar distance with more forgiveness.

Driver: Titleist TSi3 9.25° Diamana DF 60TX

3 Wood: Titleist TSi2 13.5° Diamana DF 80TX

7 Wood: Titleist TSi2 20.25° Diamana DF 80TX

4: Titleist T200 Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100

5-9: Titleist T150 Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100

46, 52, 56, 60: Titleist Vokey SM9 Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100

I switched from a 9 degree TSi3 to a 10 degree TSR2. TSR2 is the best driver I've ever had as far as feel, sound, looks at address, distance and dispersion.

I switched from the TSi3 9 to a TSR2 9 and couldn’t be happier. Hitting is almost as far but much better dispersion. Feels and sounds amazing!!

On those one or two drives here and there when I centered drives the 3 went farther but not that much.

I’ll gladly take the forgiveness, and solid distance, of the TSR2 any day!!

For those that made the switch from TSi3 to TSR2, was there a drop off in terms of ball speed, if any? I’m in the same boat and contemplated switching to TSR2 for more forgiveness especially with the head shape being more refined. However, with the the next generation set to release later this year, I’ll likely wait a little longer to see if the next version is even better

Went from TSi3 8 into TSR2 8.  Hadn't been fit for about three years.  Picked up 12yds extra carry with the TSR2 with a load of weight in the back port.  Launch and spin were optimised nicely, different shaft though.  Find the TSR2 way more forgiving all around.  I have hit some toe-strikes with it that have absolutely no right to find the middle of the fairway.  Very impressed.

Went and played 9 holes yesterday and hit every fairway except one with the TSi3. Got a way with a toe strike I don't usually get away with too. Had the face open enough for it I guess. Had a couple drives over 330 too.

When my driving is on I haven't had anything else I like more than this driver but when its off... oof. The ones that scare me are the low no spin screaming left drives. That's why I am considering the TSR2 switch. I just don't want to lose the distance I currently get. My guess is that it's just bad swings that won't be fixed with equipment.

Came to the TSR2 from Paradym and had been playing Callaway for a few years but before that always Titleist. Hit my current one against the new “regular” Paradym a couple weeks ago just because - Titleist stays in the bag. It really is the best feeling and overall performing driver I’ve ever had and I’ve had many, haha. My longest reigning driver was a 913 D2 - this is light years better than that, especially feel and sound.

In my experience over the last year with a dozen or so guys changing from a 3 to a 2, they haven't lost any distance and gained a little more control, when exchanging loft for loft. FWIW, 2 of the dozen have gone back to the 3.

I suspect you're right on the last quoted sentence.

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.

I went from tsi 3 to tsr2 last season and was less accurate. Left misses were worse with the 2. Now I am playing cobra darkspeed ls. Its fantastic if you have a left side miss. I do think the tsr/tsi heads feel the best out of anything tho. tsr3 may find its way into my bag rotation with the darkspeed to test head to head.

TSi3 is a great head, if you like it the TSR3 is even better somehow.

I played the TSR2 for a bit but I just could not get along with it.  I was all over the map with it.  Long drives were looong, but in general I couldn't keep it in the fairway.  I also did not find it particularly forgiving.  Face also felt extremely firm.

Now in the TSR3 and it's a match made in heaven.  Looks, feel, forgiveness, distance, it checks all the boxes.  For some reason, this head is extremely forgiving for my swing

I exchanged TSi3 driver and matching 3wd for TSR2 10' Driver and 15' 3wd, think the end of 2022, and it was a good decision.

TSi3 had more workability only I had to pay close attention to my swing mechanics.  The driver is not nearly as important as irons and wedges.  All I want is the ball in the fairway without much hoopla, and that's what I get with TSR2.  Don't have to think about it much either.

Tsr2 was deceptively low spin for me, I had to same idea getting a degree less loft in tsr2 and it ended up not being enough, went back to same loft and it was perfect

Similar. I had a TSI3 and demoed both TSR2 and TSR3. My miss is slight toe side so the TSR3 with the weight in T1 is a perfect match for me. Having the movable weight was the difference for me.
