Those long sleeves that Pavon is wearing. I assume it some sort of sun block thing? Seems like another layer would make you hotter. Does blocking the suns rays actually keep you cooler? Or is it simply a skin cancer protection thing?  How do these things work?

My friend has those and he claims they help keep him cooler. But I’m not sure I buy that.

Yes, those breathable sleeves keep your skin cooler. They wick moisture and reflect a good bit of UV light. Light colors in general are helpful, the guys out there in navy and black today, breathable or not, are loons IMO.

I wear them here in Hawaii and when I travel to Thailand.  Yes, they do block the sun and they are cooler.

I wear them every time I play.  Yes, it's for skin cancer protection.  But they also cool you a little when you sweat and there is a breeze.
