IVE HAD EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS YEARS NIKE LINE TO LEAD THE PACK IN PREFORMANCE. IM VERY EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW BLADES ESPECIALLY. INCLUDING THE DRIVER. NICK SHOULD MAKE THE BEST STUFF THIS YEAR

Yes. However when at address, looks like a true blade. Very impressed. Ten times better looking than the original VR and in Feel as well

Fully demo'ed these this past weekend - WOW. this is the best looking new iron that I've seen come out in a long time. And, previous posts are correct - amazing feel. I was literally blown away by looks, feel, and performance - well, I actually don't love the "look" of the cavity in the longer irons, but from address these are just dead sexy and beg to be hit. When spring rolls around, I fully expect these to be in the bag. Nike has a real winner on their hands here - I can't believe Nike came out with an iron set I "have to" have.

Just got in the heads for the Pro Combos and the Blades today. They feel REALLY good. And yes...left handed in both the Combos and the Blades. We also got in the Machspeed Black drivers for our 360 fit system. VERY NICE! Doesn't have the baseball bat sound like last year. Haven't hit the square yet..just the round. Feels good.

I have to say that they look identical to the Hogan Apex Edge irons, with that back cavity especially. As the years go by on these internet boards, the one thing that doesn't change much are iron designs. They go through cycles. I swear designer basically dig up designs from 10-15 years ago, and freshen them up a bit. Then everybody goes gaga over a design that been around before.

Now with drivers, I think this new stuff is moving forward, just because I've seen old metalwood designs, and they do seem to advance from year to year. But that's just me. Heck, maybe somebody created the R9 design years ago, but the golfing public just wasn't ready for it back then.

I am deff super stoked to try out the new Nike blades. If they hit as good as they look, they will be my next irons for 2011! Prolly go with the pro combo set. My game has taken a turn from a 2hc to well over 10. I have confused myself bigtime. Pro como set should help bring me back due to the extra help as the set gets longer.

Same idea in the long irons, for sure - and, the aesthetics (finish, texture) are similar. But those blade short irons and cavity back middies are a far cry from Apex - and check out the subtle but still there sole relief. As you can tell, I'm clearly in love...
