Yeah was going to say, I believe he is a Nike guy. Not sure how much time he's had to play, but traditionally the presidents up to and through President GW Bush have always had time for golf. Ike had the putting green installed in the whitehouse, and if you read my signature, you can hear Wilson's thoughts on the game.

Nah its just you. From what I can see its VR forged wedges and then the VR full cavities (the ones with black waffling) and sumo woods

I saw where Scotty made him a custom Newport 2 and Roger Cleveland custom made Callaway wedges (given by Phil during his visit) Roger Cleveland joked saying he weighted them special so they wouldn't go any further left

I was watching sports highlights last night and they showed their foursome playing. One of the info they showed is their handicap. The President has a 17 handicap and Boehner has a 8 handicap.

Per golf.com this week he received a set of Callaway X Forged wedges from Mickelson stamped "Prez 44", a custom Scotty Newport 2 with "Barack Obama" on the bumpers and red/white/blue paintfill from DL III, and a replica G15 7.5 with Pink Bi-Matrix from Bubba Watson. I have also seen some Foot Joy Icon shoes with teh presidentila seal and some Pro V1's qith teh seal as well given to him by Acushnet.

How fitting that Obama plays Nike clubs, since Nike clubs get a lot of flack and hate despite being solid performers.

He's got 60 rounds in over the last 12mo. Seems to have taken to the game. Good to see. When I saw some of the footage where he played with Boehner over the weekend he looked like he had made some swing progress over the last 2 years. Looked like about a 15cap.

Wouldn't he be a great Haney Project?

Have seen him at a distance off and on around the course this year, clubs a bit more close-up. Set-up is pretty much the same. Unitized putter. Not sure if he put anything new in the bag for yesterday's match, but odds are...neh.

Unlike most of us, he's not a club ho.

Regardless of the clubs he plays he should get the Presidential Seal on each one. Have Vokey make him something similar to the 2010 Ryder Cup wedges. Maybe have a staff bag with "Renegade" (his code name) stitched on it.
