It's almost done, needs to have finish and paint applied, hopefully done by the end of the week!

Pretty solid photoshop skills! You must be really excited to get that putter. Why not add the black oxide to the pic as well lol!

My photoshop skills are novice at best! The black oxide isn't really black, more of a darkened finish, should make the color pop, and the black shaft will complete the look. I didn't want to go crazy with the finish and paint, this is a gamer after all, not a wall hanger.

Just got my BB1 but just want to confirm with the Bettinardi experts. A 33" putter should be a 33" putter whether it be a Betti or an SC right? Got it special ordered through PGASS and something is definitely off with it (even though the specs on the sheet are correct). Can someone confirm if lie, loft, and length between a SC Newport and Betto BB1 would be completely different in hand vs on paper? Haven't had a chance to confirm the specs but definitely not passing the feel/eye test right now. Length looks at least 35" and the lie feels really flat when it was supposed to be more upright at 72".

Thanks. Looks like the putter didn't make it through QC at the Bettinardi factory. The putter is definitely 35". That's pretty disappointing with a custom order being completely off like that. Hopefully their customer service department is better than whoever filled this order...

Op, like others have said, looks like quality control was lacking before they shipped the putter to you!

Well I can say that their customer service is top notch. They were quick to respond and remedy the situation and are getting me the corrected one immediately. Hopefully the putter performs as well as their CS department.

Think I'll be selling the O works #1 this year and either picking up the BB1 or the ER1.2 if they release it in LH.

 

I've always been a mallet guy... and I'll probably still keep the old 2 Ball around, but I feel like a blade makes you a better putter. With higher MOI mallets, yes it's forgiving....but you can be a little bit sloppier and not know any better.

 

I rolled the BB1 lefty in Club Champ this past weekend and really liked the feel. Not a mega huge fan of the very firm rubber grip though... Would probably slap on a mid slim 2.0 or a Pingman.

 

Question: Can Betti custom adjust the head weight? Evnroll will add weight to the head if you order a shorter club to keep SW consistent. It looks like no matter the length, you get 350g?

It was sent directly by Bettinardi but ordered through the PGASS special orders Dept. PGASS put me in contact directly with their CS department when I contacted them about the error.

Looks to me that the error was with PGA? I've seen quite a few special orders that don't go through as they should.

The order sheet in the box had all the right specs that were submitted by PGASS so think it was just slipped through Bettinardi's QC before being sent out. They were quick to reach out and make sure everything was taken care of so much props to their customer service and the putter is already on its way. Luckily it is 28 degrees here with no sight of warmer weather...

Agreed. Their CS has been great and they have gone above and beyond to correct the order. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy and thanks for everyone's input. Purely based on the customer service alone, I am a big Bettinardi fan and hope to make more purchases in the future.
