This is solid. The dry hopping gives it a little more traditional hop flavor but there's still some haze in the background

A buddy brought a pack of these over for me. Never tried them before. Looking forward to giving them a go. Drink plenty of regular stouts but never a bourbon barrel aged.

Trillium IS amazing......my BIL picks me up a bunch when we go up to visit my wife's family. They're opening a second location in CT just a few miles from where my in-laws live.....could be dangerous. This is a collaboration Trillium did with Veil here in VA a couple weeks ago.....Berliner Weisse.....never really dabbled too much into these, but I'm sure glad I did. This was spectacular ......tasted like a smoothie. Definitely different!

Love the thread and I am a beer guy. However, after trying it all, I am sad to say that I have developed an allergy to beer. More than 1 and I swell and have a sneeze fit. The worst part is that it does not happen with the mass produced light beers. Me and Coors Light are ok. But me and regular or craft beers are a no go...

Revolution Brewing Thundertaker. A collaboration with Binny's Beverage, it's an imperial rye stout aged in bourbon barrels. It was released last week, and sold out in less than a day. I have to say it's probably the best barrel aged imperial stout I've ever had.

Mykiss IPA,from black rocks brewing Marquette,Mi. Can't get enough of this stuff.

It's really cool seeing how far Blackrocks has come over the past 10 years.  When I was in college up there, they were a special sort of nano-brewery...they'd brew a handful of kegs, open up their bar on Thursday night, then they'd close down whenever they ran out of beer.  Then, they bought an old Coca Cola plant and began gearing up for canning!

I also have been drinking labeled beers like coors but I'm a bit reluctant to start crafting since I think it is quite complicated.

If you are from Ontario and plan to be around Caledon on any saturdays... check out Badlands.   Unfortunately they have closed their beer garden but they are allowing pick up.  Order online friday and pick up saturdays.  They literally have the best hazy IPA's.  They have mastered the light coloured haze unlike most other NEIPA's that have a chilled haze.

In Calgary. We have hundreds of breweries. Lots of great hazy ipa and NEIPA to try!!

'Only thing better than a Revolution Thundertaker Imperial Rye Stout is having it on tap at the Revolution Brewing tap room. The taproom just reopened, and it was basically empty. 'Nice collection of barrels, too.

More deep woods goodness from Revolution Brewing. They released their 2020 Deth Tar, Cafe Deth, and a new Maple Deth variant this week. The maple is a little less sweet, and a bit boozier that the Founders CBS.
