I have to agree that the paint fill looks tacky, too much going on with it. But I'm glad he made the decision to move over to a company that will pay more attention to him and allow him to play the sticks that are tailored to him. (not that titlest didn't, but they had a lot more players to focus on.)

According to Rickie's twitter, it's Driver (AMP 8.3* Open) 3 wood (AMP 13.5 Neutral) hybrid (PRO BLK 20*) Irons (AMP Pro PROTO X100 4-9) and 4 wedges (VOKEY 47*, 51*, 55*, 59*) plus putter.

Even with all the orange....the stuff looks pretty sweet. Sure, the irons look a lot like Fowler's old Titleist MBs....but that's a smart move on his part.....get in on the ground floor and make sure you get sticks that you're really comfortable with and maybe even makes some additional tweaks to even further optimize your game.

This, in theory, should work very well for him.

I own 710 MB's and those Cobra prototypes look NOTHING like 710 MB's. Much smaller, different muscle shape/size, much less offset.

Those blades look awesome, I just wish they would have stopped with the Cobra logo and left all the rest off...a little too "busy" IMO.

712 MB 9-iron and Ricky's topline shot...a few gentle tweaks maybe but I'm sure they are basically from the same mold with mild custom grinding done.

There is no way a better player will drop Mizuno or Titiliest or even TM forged for these, the iron looks so damn ugly compared to current blades.
What I expect is a different blade offering may be next year with better looks


Cobra bread and butter is game improvement and super game improvement equipment which they are really really good at making. They do create the best drivers for high and mid-handicappers,
I don't know may be Cobra should buy Mizuno and then they well really complement each other very well

Remember how people once said that Tiger's Titleist blades were Miura stamped Titleist? I could see someone starting a rumor about these irons being Scratch stamped with Cobra.

I think collectively we need to give it a rest on the whole copying thing. A blade is a blade there is only so much you can do to change it. Same for putters as well.

They need an amp forged blade in their set. Upgrade of the S3 irons. That's the only thing they will be missing IMHO...

Agreed! Keep in mind these are the RF prototypes. ROBO Hinted before that there's another set. The ones that come to retail, and I'm absolutely sure that they will, will either be the replacement for the s3 pros or a new MB line. And I don't think they'll look exactly like the ones pictures. Prob less orange IMO
