Very happy with the way I hit the 430 today, best combination of long and straight that I have ever played. If anyone has the chance to get hot melt added to their 430 I would highly recommend it as the sound/feel are incredible.

I literally hit one of my best drives of my life today... Laser'd 345 from the tips with no slope, 320 with slope, down hill to the hole if you can get over the hillside in front of the green. Very nervous over the 4-ft putt but I made it.

Two holes later and the next time that I hit driver (hole plays into the wind).

So, you basically picked up 20 yards with this? Not joking. Good for good you can get it out there, but not in the 310-320 range.. that's deep! Congrats, on the great round.. sounds like the clubs are helping out for sure. SLDR is in the bags of 4 or the GWR top 11, so even if it sucks, it doesn't matter, tour players hit the sh*t out of it!

Like the way those wedges look, kinda wish I wasn't going away from a mostly nike bag over the last year. Here in Mi they just announced you won't need to use conforming grooves in competition this year, should just keep my pro combos. Something about that toe sweep, a combo of my desire to hit high soft shots because I don't spin it a ton and just that its something completely different design wise make me want to pick one up.
Yeah the Toe Sweep is what forced me to look at the other Nike wedges. The head shapes are better than the Vokeys IMO, the area just above the hosel is less rounded and straighter. These are the first Nike clubs that I have ever put into the bag.
I agree. Nike wedges have very clean lines and look great. And as an OTR offering are very hard to beat. Great price, performance, versatility, stock shaft, but crappie grip.

I bought a SLDR when they first came out. I wasn't a fan. I couldn't control it and sold it immediately. Then, a couple of days ago I tried one in the store on the LM. It rocked! The sound was different, the feel was different, and I was hitting the crap out of it!? I am loving the G25 or i25 for now, but the SLDR really surprised me the 2nd time around. I haven't even tried the 430 yet, but I think I'll stick with the 460 if I go there. Driving is NOT my strength (distance).

Scratch loving the Toe Sweep. Took it out cold turkey for two rounds this week at pretty hard tracks, La Costa and Del Mar CC. My K is now on the bench. I agree with your assessment that its better in all lies except sitting up in the fairway. On the soft lobs it gets up so fast. I need some time to get used to that. I thought the K was the holy grail out of the sand but the Toe Sweep might be a little better.

Glad the SLDR is working out for you. You are dropping some bombs with that thing.

Scratch your still gaming the TS? Any more feed back on it would be great. Did you get your wedge work done yet?

Boomer the TS really kicked the K out? What's the big advantages?

I sent them away to get the finish removed to raw, after I get them back they need to get shafted. So hopefully in a week or two.

Where did you send your wedges to get the finish removed to raw? I've got 3 of the VR Forged wedges in the chrome finish and they almost blinded me during my round the other day.

Is there a difference between satin and raw? Does a satin finish rust?
Satin will not rust. I should take that back, if you throw your club and it bounces off the cart path and chips, it will rust in the chiped off spot.

Bitter would be if we infiltrated every thread, talked down to the entire WRX community, threw a fit like a baby, stopped posting, deleted our pictures, locked our thread. Then came back months later and replied to every other post with a long winded condescending response to get the point across.... Moving forward lets make a deal, I will ignore you and you ignore me. The entire site will be better of....

How do you like the CB irons? I was thinking of getting a 4 iron to try and replace my 712U. I like the U more than my MC 4 iron because it is so much easier to hit.

I am loving the CB long irons. I highly recommend them. They are super easy to hit bombs with!

@MNNikeGuy I'm still in the honeymoon stage so right now I'll game it over the K. I think the biggest advantage over the K so far is the high lob or touch shots around the green. Sometimes the K felt clunky to me with the bounce. Out of the sand I'd give a slight nod to the Toe Sweep. Full shots were pretty even to me. I thought I'd dig more with the Toe Sweep but that wasn't the case. The divots were a touch deeper than with the K but that didn't bother me. I mean I'll be honest I could play either wedge and be fine. They are both great wedges but I think being able to get the ball up quickly and land soft will really benefit my game.
