Still enjoying the 913 woods? I ordered some new wedges and a 5 wood today.
FD 5 wood? What wedges?

Woods were a easy transition for me since I played the 910s for so long. Surprisingly I prefer the D2 over the D3. D3 sets up better, D2 performs better and feels better. D3 is more metallic sounding/feeling while D2 is more muted/dense. The D3 is a really good driver, and is loner than the D2. I swing it a little faster because of the smaller head. There is not denying that I am much more consistent with the D2. I have problems releasing the club too late and I seem to release the D2 better, I think because of the CG location.

FD is legit. Launches much higher than the 910FD and is noticeably longer and more forgiving. Also feels better, easier to hit off the deck and just a great fairway. I ordered mine at standard length, I need to take .5" off it. You think I will need to change the red weight to blue to maintain D3?

The Speeder TS 8x is my fav fairway shaft ever, I wish they made a 90 gram.

I have an HD with Speeder TS on order that can't arrive fast enough.

You have good taste. you're gonna love everything. TVD wedges are insanely good, FD 18 is a rocket launcher and whiteboard has always flown under the radar in fairways. I had a WB 73x in my CB2 13 and it was longer than the 909D3 that i was playing at the time, in dry conditions. I stopped playing it because it was too long.

Ther are some other shake ups in my bag. Been testing a few putters after the GoLo acted up and I still have some driver testing that I want to do before I fully commit.

What weight WB?

Did you try many blades before you got the miura's? Just wondered if you thought they were much different to an OEM set of blades. Cheers
Yes I hit pretty much everything. Biggest difference is the head shape and turf interaction.

Sick setup Sratchswinger. Hard to go wrong with any of those combinations.
I am digging your Koi pond too. I had koi for years and have always built ponds where ever I have lived. Cranes & herons have killed all of my big koi. I have given up and can't even stock my pond anymore unless I want to perpetuate the most expensive bird feeder in ATX.

The trick is fishing line. Tie a straight line every 5-8 feet apart about 7 feet above the pond and the birds will stop, you don't even notice it after a few days. Thx for the compliment, good luck to you and your son.

Owning Miura's is like a woman owning a LV bag of Tiffany ring. I can tell you straight up that they don't feel any better than Mizzy's or anything else when you pure them. I do believe that there is a higher standard of workmanship and the tolerances are tighter than large scale OEM's, The selling points for me were the sole grind, square toes, higher SW and more squared toes.

I'm 90% sure at this point that the 913s will be in the bag for the rest of the season. I have hit almost every driver and the D2/FD combo is a great combination of distance, forgiveness and feel. Numbers are good enough on the monitors, more importantly they have been consistent on the course. Still have a HD with Speeder TS en route that should be here soon. There is still one combo that I need to hit.

Putter is till up in the air at this point and more testing to be done.

Shoot haha. I got two C-grind wedges coming in the mail!
55 and 59? I think you will like them as the added bounce will help in the moist conditions. I was mainly referring to the grinds on the irons as they are notorious for sharp leading edges.

Yup.. the bounce is crazy high, one of the main reasons I got them. It's too bad nobody around here has Miura irons. My Scratch's will be so tough to ditch, and I can only see switching to Miuras... maybe Epon or possibly Ping Ansers.
