Got a 4 and 7 off HH.. 4 is getting a Rombax 75X, and 7 wood is a GD Tour AD YsQ 75 X ( i had laying around) I am picking them up today from the shop. 41.5 and 40.5 D2 SW
Best of luck with them man! it was so hard for me to let that 4 wood go. I have my kai'li sitting in the corner waiting on me if i need to get another 4 wood head. If i buy one again i'll be getting a mint one or sending it to be refinished. The sand blasted look is awesome, but i like black better (atleast i think i do today)

Range session #2 was just as good as the first. Love, love love the X-Caliber FW in my V-Steel. Got to hit off of real grass and this thing is just so easy to get the ball up. Anyone wanting to experiment on the cheap, grab a V-Steel head of your choice and a X-Caliber FW. I may just have to pick up a 13* considering how easy it is to get airborne.

Scored an excellent condition 15° 3w with dgsl s300 @ GG for $13.99 sans HC.
Not as long as my alpha v5 5w off the tee, but much more versatile and easier to hit off the deck.
I regret selling my previous ones, so this one is here to stay. Would love to find a 4w with steel shaft, would settle for a 5w too.

I loved the heck out of my V-steel but there was a reason I got rid of it, because it just sat too closed for my eye. The 07 Burner tp in my opinion the closest thing that TM has come out with since the Vsteel and it sits more open. TM needs to do a reissue V-steel TP with no adjustability and have it sit a degree open.

*Edit:I do believe some OEM's have built in left handed offset but that's a whole different thread.

With the standard .350 hosels and a .335 shaft, you can use the "Billy Bob's ferrule adaptor/shim" and get them to square or slightly open. Golfworks has them, as well as the Billy Bob's Golf site.

These fit the V-Steels, even though they are not among the models listed....

Finally got to take my V-Steel with the new X-Caliber FW shaft to the course today and used it about 5-6 times from the deck and tee. Every shot was dead straight and exactly where I was aiming. I'm in love all over again!

It does launch a little higher than the original MAS 2 Ultra Lite stiff shaft that came in it but it's so much easier to hit where I'm aiming and just as long if not longer. Anyone struggling with the original stock shaft owes it to themselves to spend the $39.99 for a new shaft. Blueboard smooth and RIP alpha straight all wrapped up in one.

Just put in an ad di 7x shaft in my vsteel 3wood, can't wait to hit it tomorrow!

That should be a rocket launcher! Can't wait to here how it goes.

Just got my 5 wood today! I'm going to matte it and my T/S out next week! I hate the white.

I measured my V-Steel TS 13* yesterday that has this ferrule shim installed. I hadn't had this club out for a while and had forgotten what the exact face angle was. This particular head got to 1.5* open with the max open setting angle.

Just finished coating both heads. All flat black, and they look Sick! Now I'm just waiting on my tour issue UST pro force V2 shafts. Will update when finished. I'm so stoked though. The flat black just looks incredible at address!

i just changed the V3 25* 5 H with the v-steel 24* 9-wood in my set-up......

i find the 9-wood much more versatile---i can hit it high, low, and with a bit more distance than the V3...

easy enough also to throttle down or step it up if i'm between distances..

What did you use to coat them? I'm going to be doing one of mine flat black and was planning on using Rustoleum paint based on other threads.

Used my V steel 4 wood to birdie a 243 yard par three yesterday, (shouldn't have been playing from the tips) somehow pulled it off. I love this thing.
GREAT man! glad to see you are enjoying the club. There is a par 3 at my home course. Plays 238 from the tips, and the green runs hard back to front and left to right. I never play the tips either, but i was out messing around one day, and went for it with that v-steel 4 wood. Wouldn't you know it to about 8 feet. made the putt for birdie. Probably never do it again, but i will be the first to admit i miss that 4 wood.

SteveL that is powder coat applied by JG Golf. It is much more durable and holds up well!

I put a kai'li in mine, and it produced a high flat ball flight. I hit my fairway woods low, and it really brought the ball up for me, but still had a penetrating flight. The blueboard or kai'li is probably my favorite shaft for fairways woods. I have the pull sitting here in my room. PM me if interested.
