On a straight, fairly level 450yd par 4. Hit it a few yards inside the 100yd marker.
It was May here in Canada so ithe ground was pretty soft.

Hit a couple further later on in the season but fairways were like asphalt around here due to the record drought in 2012 so I don't count those.

This is funny. Waaaayyyy too subjective. If you're TRULY a long hitter, you don't even care to measure.

But I'll bite...I couldn't tell you though..I can't count over 400.

Carry plus roll - 406 yards.

Many years ago and not long after the Osprey Ridge/Fazio course had opened at Walt Disney World, I hit the drive of my life. It's late summer, new course and the fairways are rock hard. I typically carried the ball about 260 back then and on this day was getting 40+ yards of roll. Came to a 556 yard par 5 and put a good swing on one, diametrically down the center of the fairway. Our group started looking in the 300 yrd range and the ball was nowhere to be found. Expanded the search and eventually located it 6 inches in front of the 150 marker on the left side. To this day I'm reasonably sure, though didn't witness it, that I hit one of the 14x14 granite yardage markers for some extra roll.

340 with a slight tailwind and I hit a downslope. Probably carried around 290 and was sitting beside the 100yd marker. 441yd hole, #2 at Otter Creek in Otterville, Ont.

Not to be a pompous a** but......the hole was 305 and flew my TM Tour Issue Burner 14 degree 3 wood on the front of the green....the group on the green was f***** pissed! LOL. That club easily goes further than my driver on a good day....it's 1" over standard and has a sick Fuji Motore F1 4.0 X shaft!

Legit 405 on a par 5, although I hit one 475 after a massive bounce off a yardage stone in the fairway but that doesn't count.

About 360. Got home in two on a 630 yard par 5. It was pretty straight away and I had 255 in.

405 in Reno NV. In my first LD qualifier in Misquite I hit my best at 380. I was very nervous.

I'm not sure if I can really claim a longest drive without wind or slope, I play a pretty hilly course right off the ocean... With high 120's on a good day I feel like 340 is my best no influence drive. I've love to hit in ideal conditions on a grid, that would be fun

Just so you guys have more to pick on. 378. Downhill par 5, rolled out about 90 yards. It was in the middle of summer, mild drought and hard fairways. I never even came close to that again.

I hit a monster for me 300 yards then my 23 year old son steps up and hits one 370, wish I was young and flexable again.

380 yds, measured with a bushnell pro 1600 slope edition....So give or take a yard either way...Hit it with an TM 07 460 Burner 9.5* with a YS 7+ stiff .350 Tip.

Ive had many many more in the 330-370yds range as well

Longest in re/max qualifying was 384 mid-morning in Mesquite.

For anyone who's done qualifiers there you'll know 360 is deep at 8am, then after noon anything under 400 is unacceptable, so there are more conditions to consider...

My average long drive clubhead speed is 144 mph (48" XXX Whup'n shaft, 6 degree Geek DCT heads turned down to 5.5)

My normal playing driver (45.5" RazrFit Extreme) clubhead speed is around 132 mph, yielding a ball speed around 196-200 mph

Longest drive ever... 2011 Utah Assistants Championship, downhill, breeze from behind - 485 yards. Carried for what seemed like 30 secs

Average on my home course in Park City, UT is 370 (elevation around 6400')

357 (GPS measured) at Diamondback GC in Abilene, TX. No real wind, but the fairways were pretty hard. Playing a standard Cobra S9-1 F speed 45.5" driver. Had 5 drives over 300y that day and even drove a 298y par 4. That has been my peak of driver ability. SS is 112-118mph

One of my most cherished golf memories: had my longest drive ever while on the Old Course at St. Andrews. Took a trip to Scotland for the specific purpose of playing that course. 280 on a crisp, windless day.

Germantown CC in Germantown, TN; hole #6, par 5 dogleg left. Drew one closer to the tree that guards the edge of the fairway on the left than I really intended, about 10 mph wind behind us and got some good roll- ended up 376 yards from where it started. My avg swing speed with driver is 119 with ball speed consistently over 170. I am a 5 handicap, 7-iron carry is about 175. I am in agreement with the guys who are saying if you are claiming to hit it 340 plus with no wind aid or elevation change or thin air help-- PLEASE. If you hit it dead center with optimal launch and spin and have less than 120 clubhead speed there is no way you hit that with no help from wind, elevation, or air. I admit, I swung a lil harder than usual, hit more of a draw than normal (hince more roll), it was mid-summer (optimal ball and club performance and hard fairways), and there was a wind behind me... I avg. 295 off the tee in my normal rounds, and with flat flat normal launch monitor conditions I carry 297 avg with 315-320 on total.
