Buy used balls from Lost Golf Balls. You can build your logo ball
collection rapidly as they always put plenty in there, even from
places you'll never have the chance to play. If you want them
pristine buy AAAAA rated only. Tell them you want all balls to
have logos on them that way the rest of us may get less of them.

IMO that ruins the point of collecting. I only want logo balls from courses I played. I want to be able to look at each ball and reminisce about playing that particular course.

I just went online and bought balls from Pebble Beach and Mahagony Run cause I played those courses nearly 30 years ago, way before I started collecting, so I want to add them to the collection.

That's what we do. Just filled a 60 ball cabinet, have another one sitting there empty. I'm still watching for an Acapulco Princess course ball, one of the few we didn't get a ball from.

Haven't displayed them yet because I don't have many... one from TPC Sawgrass, one from TPC Scottsdale and one from Chamber Bay, one from Arizona Golf Resort and the Callaway Ball that I hit my hole in one with.... because I have played those courses and each of those balls has a significant story to tell. Any other logo balls would be meaningless to me. I also collect yardage books, bag tags, ball markers and divot tools from those course I play.

Always having a look around for balls on the course when I am playing solo and the course is quiet. I swap 2 normal for 1 logo with other friends if they have interesting logos in their bags... (also swap them 2 mid range balls for 1 premium with them!)

Yep, collect logo'd ones for courses in the UK / Europe that I play and ones that are interesting from around the world that I tend to find on the course for places like TPC Scotsdale, Sandy Lane etc. Like collecting ones from comps and european tour balls, interesting companies too, have a fair collection of Beer related ones now... Always had thoughts of trying to go for a record of collecting all 55,000+ golf club balls from around the world and then sell / create a sclupture for charity but think this may be a tall order!

I didnt like any of the made for cases so have recently aquired some peg board that has 3cm gap between the holes and am using tees in the peg board holes to hold the balls. This has made me look around on the course for unusual tees!

Like the idea of writing the score / date on the balls of the courses I have played.

As is obvious, I display my logo balls, as well as a few from my personal best rounds.

I used to buy one from every course I played . . . until the rack got filled. Then I started to switch some lesser courses out as I added famous courses I played. I could have bought another rack I guess, but I'm liking the more refined collection. By the way, some of my treasured logo balls are from relatively unknown courses I grew up on, though Bethpage Black qualifies on both criteria.

The one downside to the whole hobby is that most logo balls they sell in resort pro shops are brands I don't like to play, so when I switched a few out of my rack I can't figure out what to do with them. Shag bag seems odd, as they're brand new.

I collect logo balls from the courses I play and a couple of random ones (companies I worked at, alma maters, etc.) I have two full display cases in my home office that display a total of 126 balls- 63 each.

I've got some left over, and I guess I'll start putting them into a den caddy or something. I'll keep the best ones in the display racks and throw the others in a den caddy in my home office.

I collect logo balls, but I have to play the course in order to buy it otherwise its completely meaningless!

I do collect balls from courses where I have attended events as well, as I may never get to play them, but have had an experience on them. A few others, as well, such as my alma mater and some brands that I like/use. A couple USA type balls as well. So, something with a meaning to mean can make my collection but I don't just buy balls from everywhere to make my collection bigger.

BTW, for those of you that started collecting long after you started playing, eBay can be your friend. Also, Roger Kleinschmidt not only sells custom displays but he has a huge collection of balls- many for sale or trade. Look him up online.

I've also just called courses and purchased a logo ball over the phone, some have even shipped it free of charge.

This is the first case I've used for my logo balls, but may go with a larger one with a protective UV door. Still have many more to display...

I don't collect logo balls but I do collect signed balls from being a standard bearer at the John Deere Classic the last few years. So far, I have Spieth, Stricker, Harman, Kevin Na, Danny Lee, and Adam Hadwin (among less known names). I store them in these. Right now they're not displayed anywhere. Someday I'll have a golf room when we get a bigger house.

I collect balls from courses I've played. I've played over 700 courses and have balls from about 500 of those. I have 10 display cases. 9 at home and one at my office that has balls from courses in England and Scotland. Here are a few.

+1 for Roger K. He is a nice guy and had balls from a number of courses I played before I started collecting.

When I started collecting I sent checks and return envelopes to 100 favorite courses I played up to taht time. Every single one replied. Some sent back the check. Some sent other stuff like ball markers. The one I got from the Olympic club came with a nice note and a hand drawn Olympic logo from the guy in the pro shop. A nice touch.

I collect and display them in my man cave. I need to get a few more display cases as the one I have is full. I also collect pencils and have a display case for them and I collect score cards and place them in a photo album that sits on my book shelf.

I wish I had started when I was a kid, try and collect a ball from every course I've played.

Now that I'm older, I want to do that, but sorting thru all the courses and actually picking up a ball from each would be a difficult task for sure.

my dad does. I will probably start eventually when i get a place with a den or study. right now i don't really have the room.

Even if you just put them in a box, you may want to start collecting them now, otherwise you'll be like @hdgolf44 above.

Luckily, I started collecting the balls by the time I had graduated college and started having more mobility to play different places. The courses I had played up until then were fairly concentrated in the areas I had lived. Now, the only ones I am missing are mostly closed courses, unfortunately.

My father collected them. When he passed there was about 5000 or so. He had about 15 display cases with 100 in each. Also had those plastic pickle buckets filled with them. Donated them to charity as I had no place to keep them and none of my siblings wanted anything to do with them. And I was the one stuck with cleaning out his place.
