That thing is pretty sick looking. XTORSION kinda reminds me just a touch of old Harrison stuff. Love the clearcoat over the raw graphite weaves.

the weave looks pretty wild on these from Aldila.

 

Lol Mark we almost posted that at the same time, pretty sweet looking with seeing the raw weave imo.

Definitely a somewhat tacky naming convention, but at the end of the day, it'll probably be a solid offering. Thinking back, I started with the plain old Aldila HM-40, and I've had all the crazy names on the way myself - Flex Twist, Voodoo, RIP, Rogue, etc.

It says in green "Mamba Technology." Aldila has always named their anti-ovalling tech. S-Core, Xtreme, RIP, now Mamba. All of them are ways to strengthen the hoop/circle shape of the shaft for maximum energy transfer. Similar to Rombax, Triax Engine, Axivcore, Matrix's "HD", etc.
