New 2018 Srixon Soft Feel (11th generation)

The next generation of the Srixon Soft Feel (11th generation) was available on August 1. I've liked the previous several versions, and look forward to reviews as we start playing it. The S Feel doesn't seem to get the love that similar Surlyn balls get, and Srixon's advertising is getting more aggressive as it goes directly after the Titlest Tour Soft and (of course) the SFeel's distance and wedge spin are better, but just slightly.

I'm not expecting any radical improvements over version 10, but if it competes with the Tour Soft, which is a very good, but overpriced Surlyn ball, that would be great as it's so much cheaper. The Srixon Soft Feel has maintained it's $19.99 price point. I think Srixon makes great balls, and I play the Z Star primarily.

omg, yet another ball to try. Whats the compression? I swore off two piece balls. But, the D2 Feel and Tour soft go against that. They are decent balls.

It stops faster than the Titleist TruSoft or whatever that is that they are taking aim at is what they are saying

I’ve never had any issues stopping the soft feels in the last couple of generations.

I really like how these balls putt true, that’s the most important thing to me in any ball.

Previous gens were really good balls for the money. I'll be trying these out for sure.

So if the new SF 'stop' on the green, where does the QS fit in then?! I just want a 2 piece that spins a bit that doesn't cost ($45/dz. here Tour Soft). So I use QS, Trusofts, Super Softs, Wilson 50s.

I’ve got some in my bag. Hopefully gonna get to try them next weekend. They feel really really nice on the putter. Should be a decent ball.

Very similar performance but the cover of the soft feel makes it feel softer off the putter.

Just wanted to post a quick update.

Great balls! They feel really nice off the putter, and as a beginner, I feel like I can actually compress them. Felt like when I caught the ball right on chips and pitches, it stopped on the green like I wanted it too.

Really really pleased, especially for $20/dozen. I’ll probably game these for a while! They are definitely worth a try if you are thinking about them.

Very similar balls but subtle differences:

Soft Feel - 60 compression, 2 pc surlyn, no spin skin added to cover, 338 dimples, $20

QStar - 77 compression, 2 pc surlyn, spin skin cover, 324 dimples, $25

A green soft feel seemed to have slipped by us. Just passing it along....

I tried them this season and they were very good balls but I found the Trusoft better on approach shots for my swing.
