***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION

Last year, in an effort to improve the capability of our forums, we switched to new software. We expected tremendous scalability and rapid customization that would significantly improve each Member's experience across multiple devices and integrate flawlessly with social media platforms.

Unfortunately, after a significant capital expense, we have decided that the length of time and the additional cost to reach our goals make this enterprise untenable.

Thus, we have made the difficult decision to transition the forums to our original software platform. We’re excited that, in the nearly two years since we began the process of our most recent switch, our original platform has been upgraded significantly, and we are confident that the reversion will not only provide the stability that we desperately needed prior to our last move but will also return to the Membership the high level of customization that made our online community so great. We have also added technical resources to the GolfWRX staff that will allow us to build custom modules and modifications that we are confident will take the forums to the next level.

We remain the world's largest online golf community, and we still hold true to our core values and mission statement as written in 2005. Bearing both of those elements in mind, being the best and offering our Members a platform that is world-class are both requirements, not options, and it is that spirit that has motivated this decision.

So, please pardon our mess over the next five days or so while we transition the forums.

A few important notes: Current content will be accessible during that time, but the forums will be READ ONLY, and you will not be able to start new threads or reply to posts. Personal Messaging is enabled but PMs sent/received from the time the board was frozen will not carry over. We know this is inconvenient, and we apologize, and we greatly appreciate GolfWRXers bearing with us through the transition.

We are very excited about starting this next chapter for GolfWRX and getting back to the high-quality Member experience we all expect as soon as possible.

I would buy several pairs of TW 13s brand new if I could. Super comfortable, stylish, easy to clean and very waterproof. There’s not a single thing they don’t do well.

I really miss those shoes. They were the only Nike shoes that I could wear. Still had to get them in a wide width, but loved the waterproof features.

Lol! I didn’t know there were any “great” Tiger woods Nike golf shoes. I do know most of them look like horse ****.

I’ve never actually tried on and liked ANY pair of Nike golf shoes....ever... in my entire life. I Wouldn’t pay $2 for a pair of Nikes.

Each to his own. I’m glad there are a decent number of choices out there. I’m personally a footjoy and Puma guy.

They may have been comfortable, but I thought the 13's were ugly. My favorites are the SP-8 or the Zoom TW 2009. Both paired good looks with comfort. If I could still get the white with black swoosh SP-8, that would be all that I would wear.

Never was a fan of the Zoom TW’s, they were a robust and techy bowling shoe to me at the time.

I think there were some better overall looking shoes but I loved the way these looked with slacks and these are probably my favorites ever. They look A1 in golf slacks with a slit on them to drape over the shoe. Others may look better with shorts but these are my favorites with slacks on. **** you took me back with those. I can't believe you still have two brand new pair of them. I would have to wear them! Man I wish I could get y hands on those for a reasonable price !

not sure if you remember, but that year they made a solid white and a solid black pair. they also came out with a pair for each of the majors. the 2 i posted above these: (i was going through a brown phase and wore those, but the black ones are still brand new)

I’m sorry but any TW golf shoes before 13 look like absolute ***. They aren’t traditional looking and they aren’t comfortable. They were just flat out bad golf shoes. I have no complaints about people going with traditional looks and I love them myself i.e. FJ Icons, FJ DryJoys, GFore Gallivanters. I also have no complaints about people who want comfort i.e. GFore 4.1, Nike FI, Adidas Crossknit. But to show favoritism towards a show that provides neither is outrageous to me. All of the pre TW13 provided the worst of both style of golf shoes.

I have been searching for a pair of brown shoes and would rock those in a heartbeat. The black ones are A1 also.

I will always try to get a backup pair of my favorite shoes to keep for later on but my question is after so long can you even convince yourself to wear them because you know that once they are worn out that's it?!

    TW SP-08.

If Nike would retro these with a react sole, I will take a pair or two in every color.

My vote is for the TW14. People forget they had the Nike ID version and also the Spikeless version which is my favourite summer shoe.

I can’t stop myself from buying new pairs when ever I see them on EBay. I have a pair of the TW15 waiting to make the rotation.

I remember when the TW 14 hit the clearance racks at Nike and then use to flood eBay. Nike definitely needs to retro one of these.

I got two pairs of these TW 15's at Ross a few years ago for $27 a pair. Good shoes. Wouldn't say great. But good.

I also had the SP-8 in all white and those were high quality but heavier.

I'm definitely not the first to say this, but the grey tw14s get my vote. I've had a Nike connect my whole life so I've basically worn all the shoes, these were the most comfortable in my opinion. A close second for me is the tw 2009 for how classic they look while still feeling like a comfortable nike shoe.

Is anyone enjoying the TW71s? I like the look of them but most reviews say the fast-fit system is pretty faulty.

Interesting thought in a nike golf shoe thread lol. "Let me find a thread about something I don't like then go comment in the thread about how much I hate it" is an interesting way to participate in a forum but to each his own.

I bought a size 11 when they first came out @ $130 or whatever they were and couldn’t get them tight enough. Had to return to Nike. This spring I found a pair of 11 Wide at Burlington for 24.99 and tried them on and to my surprise they fit perfectly. Super stable and comfortable. Fast Fit system in this case was Definitely not consistent, but ended up working out for me.
