We used build sheets, but I didn't get a copy. Maybe the other guys might have asked for them.

The time line of a sad life living in Minnesota! With a kid in hockey and lacrosse.

We went to Nike on May 20th 2013

I got my woods on June 13th (20 rounds)

I got my wedges on July 15th and I was on vacation (10 rounds)

I got my putter on July 19 still on vacation (10 rounds)

I got my irons on October 17th snow the next week (1 round)

So yes one round with my Oven bag!

I'm taking the CT 3 wood out for a CP 2.0, replacing the CT 5 wood with a CP 2.0 Hybrid, and took the Raw 58 DS wedge out for a 60* toe sweep bent to 58*

To top it off I LIVE ON A GOLF COURSE.

OMG! The TS wedge is amazing. I can't believe these have conforming grooves. This wedge is so easy to use. The ball stops on a dime.

It's great from any lie. Sand, rough, tight lies, low spinners, high flops, 1/4 swings,1/2 swings, 3/4 shots.

I'm glad you like the TS. You've got me really interested in picking one up in 60° myself. Right now I'm playing the VR Forged 60° and I have to admit, my consistency with it vs. my 52° and 56° is total night and day. Just can't seem to get a handle on the 60°. I keep trying with it because the grass is still pretty poor out on the course right now (i.e., something to blame bad shots on), and I keep hoping my shots will improve as the course livens up.

I see you were bagging the VR Forged as well before the TS. I'm assuming you like the TS more, but did you hang on to your VR Forged 58° as well, maybe for specific courses/lies? I read one review on here that said the VR X3X weren't as spinny as the VR Forged-- anything to that in your experience? Hard for me to see why they wouldn't be...

Also interested in your shaft choice. What differences in performance do you expect or are you looking for from the Nippon vs. the standard S400?

Sorry for all the questions and hope I'm not imposing too much on your WITB, but you've just got some really amazing custom gear and I'd love to hear your take on how it's working for you as the season unfolds-- specifically the TS wedge and shaft combination.

    VCR-

I will be hanging on to my forged 58* DS because it's raw and from the Oven. I'm to in consistent with it. The TS is just a way better wedge for me.

I'd say the new X3X wedges spin more then the Vr forged. The grooves are sharper, deeper, and wider. The feel of the new cast wedges are 2nd to none.

I went with the modus 3 shafts to be consist with the rest of my clubs. IMO it makes more since for me to play shafts that play, perform, and feel the same. I've always played S400's in my wedges. I don't need my wedges to be that heavy or stiff feeling.

    I hope this helps.

The CP 2.0 and CP 2.0 HYB will stay in the bag for the year. The 2.0's are way better for me then the CT 1.0's. The 2.0 , 3 wood is so much easier off the deck then the CT. The HYB is money from any lie or the tee. I always had problems with HYB's going left on me.

I need some money so I can get a new driver or shaft. The CP 2.0 3 wood was keeping up with my driver all day yesterday.

Thanks, good to know about those VR X3X wedges! I'll be picking up the TS 60° to try out as soon as possible.

And yes, CP 2.0 Driver, FW, and Hybrids are playing very hot for me. The driver is so easy to hit. Kind of spinny, so I'm playing it at 8.5° loft and it's just soaring. Was playing with my buddy the other day and told him I was playing it at 8.5° and he was really skeptical about my ability to hit it well. First tee, after my drive, he just watched it fly down the fairway, just shaking his head and saying, "Wow. ... wow." I think the stock shaft in the driver is just a little light.

I've never been a fan of hybrids, but the 3H has become my go-to on Par 5s. Took me a while to figure out how to just swing it like an iron with the ball in the middle of my stance instead of trying to play it up in my stance and hit it like a wood.

Love the clubs! I have been looking for that putter cover all over and can't find it. Might have to go with a customshop911 instead. I guess you could say I'm jealous!!! Plus still a lot of snow up here near Duluth.

Thanks. That putter cover is one of my favorite things about my bag. We got a foot of snow on Wednesday but it's gone now and hopefully I'll be playing tomorrow when it's 70*.

I've had my share of one brand bags going back to the old King Cobra days. Had my share of all Titleist bags and Taylor Made. Never had a 14 club Callaway. I could never get along with there drivers.

So I got the new Titleist test balls yesterday that I have to compare the two models against each other. Since I live in MN and haven't really got out much and was planing on testing the RZN black and platinum I thought I'd compare all 4 of them.

For those that don't know me I've been a 5 hcp for about the last 6 years. Didn't play much last year and went up to a 7. Driver swing speed avg would be about 103 I'm guessing, it's been awhile since I've checked. Strongest part of my game is my short game and putting.

I did my testing at my home course on the 3 hole loop. First hole is a par 4 up hill and into the wind playing it at 350 today. The second hole is a par 3 into the wind and I played it at 140 and 165. The last hole is a par 4 with a cross wind coming from my right so easy to draw the ball, I played it at 400 today.

I did a number system 1 being the best and 4 the worst. I added all the categories together and the lowest score won.

    - DRIVER (120 balls) categories / longest, straightest, ballooning, and dispersion.

    Titleist diamond ball

    Platinum

    Titleist circle

    Black

    - IRONS / (180 balls) feel, spin, checking up, roll out, ballooning, and longest.

    Platinum

    Titleist circle

    Black

    Titleist diamond

    - WEDGES / (360 balls) spin, check up, roll out.

    Platinum

    Circle

    Diamond

    Black

    - PUTTER / feel and sound.

    Platinum

    Circle

    Diamond / Black

Platinum won. I would really have no problem gaming any of these balls.

    Thanks.

The combos with the modus are a great combo. The modus are the best feeling shafts IMO. I've played just about every shaft and these work the best for me and no more elbow pain. My game is really sucking right now, so my bag cold change by the end of June. I know it's not the arrows!

The 2.0 3 wood is money! My best 3w I've ever gamed , and I gamed a lot. The HYB is still on trial. I really haven't had to use it much.

Agree in the 3 wood. I've never had a three wood that I could hit as high as this one off the deck. I'm not sold on the KK Blk 70 though. The feel just isn't there for me, but it's hard to argue with the results.

    G- how's the 2.0 #2 hyb working out?

The 2.0 3 wood is money! My best 3w I've ever gamed , and I gamed a lot. The HYB is still on trial. I really haven't had to use it much.

Agree in the 3 wood. I've never had a three wood that I could hit as high as this one off the deck. I'm not sold on the KK Blk 70 though. The feel just isn't there for me, but it's hard to argue with the results.

I use the 3 wood off the tee every round on our hardest hole on the course. It's a par 4 dog leg left with OB on the right and hazard down the left with a big tree that you have get past to see the green. From the tee you have get it 220 - 250 no less or further. It's the only level approach. The wind is always in to you either pushing it OB or in the hazard. Depending on the wind I'll hit a high cut over the tree or a low running draw.

    5 rounds 5 pars!
