On PING's website, I saw that the Hoofer Tour is sold out, but coming back in August.

Does anyone have an comments to share on theirs regarding how similar the design is to a regular Hoofer?

I would like one to use on a golf cart (power). It would seem to be easy to deal with getting from trunk to cart or practice area.

hey guys, I got mine the day it was released and have used it as my gamer since the day I received it. I have 2 other hoofers and a vessel bag and this is by far my favorite. I’ve loved the hoofer model for years and you would not believe the build quality in this. It far exceeds my regular hoofers and frankly it’s not even close. As for the additional weight, I walk all my rounds and I haven’t found myself wanting my other bags once. If you Guys are interested I strongly recommend getting it as soon as it returns you won’t be disappointed!

I talked to ping when I originally orders mine the day they came out and they did mention there was an extremely small quantity at launch.

TLinc - how does it relate to a regular Hoofer? I'm planning to use it on a golf cart, as we have to ride where I play.

It looks to be easier to deal with from trunk to cart and I would convert the double strap to a single if possible.

I talked to Ping Customer Service and they are uncertain of the date when more will be in stock. Seems like their internet sales are a separate division.

it relates to the regular roofer in the sense that it feels the same when you’re using it and that’s the biggest compliment I could give it with how good the hoofer is. I’ve carried it, used a caddy with it, and put it on a cart and I haven’t had any issues with any situation. I would almost say it’s easier because the build quality is better. It’s the material on the tour bags so it’s much sturdier. The pockets space is unreal too.

 

I talked to them at launch and they said it was going to be an ultra small release and with it being an online exclusive it might a one or two time release max. I luckily have my dads in a box in the garage unopened as well lol.

Ping website just updated to say the restock is now in November 2020. Bummer. Wish I had picked one of these up the first time around but hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

I think it looks 'off' because it's so bloated/disproportional looking vs. a 'normal' stand bag. Gives off an Al Czervik vibe to me. Wish they'd slim it down a bunch.

Bag is available again later today for those interested.  I'm still on the fence.  I love the way it looks, but its a bit heavier than what I'm used to for a carry bag.

Ping's website is awful for this kind of stuff. It crashes under barely any load.
