Since it's a proto. The medallion is there to not "show" the finished product. Or to hide it?

Might look radically different than the actual release product, if it ever comes to the public.

Does look like more of a finished product, since Nike has worked with Rory and Tiger for a while about the new 2 iron.

I agree. The VR_S Forged irons are great but a bit bulky in the short irons. The new VRS Covert forged are extremely underrated, but I know many traditionalists still find them a tad too big even though they are scaled down from the previous gen.

The Pro Combos are more blade like so these MM Protos could slide in easily after these. Seems to be the trend now with SLDR irons on top of the TPs and Cally with the Apexes etc.

He did not have it in his bag on Monday morning when he helped open the new Nike Golf Performance Fitting Centre at Archerfield Golf Links (I was a guest). He said he was testing new products later that afternoon - this would be one of them I guess.

If you look towards the back heal it looks like it has an actual stamp.... can't make it out completely but looks like it could be RMPROTO as you can se the ROTO quite clear and there's only a few letters in front of this so I'm guessing RMPROTO,

The MM is a place holder for a term they might be throwing around the Oven. This club was designed with Rory and Tiger, I would think they both have it in play next week.

Judging from the new pictures, the first pics that almost show poor quality are just confirmed to be the design, not anything peeling up. These look amazing and I am not going to be happy if these come out as a whole set in November. I would have loved to have saved money this year

Btw, Nike has by far the greatest custom shaft and grips options ever offered by a major OEM.

Take a look at their PDF, can order ANY shaft from every major manufacturer plus names like nVentix, ACCRA, & Penley R&D.
